  1. A total crook
  2. He leaves Man City. I don’t think he retires. He played in Italy and he’s done there yet. He might fancy Spanish NT sometime soon.
  3. Charity events now - more than retirement payments
  4. Back arguing with the orc’s of Coventry
  5. As we stand now, no because it would mean the club have been liquidated and it has started again. If Leicester City were in the Midland Football League, I’d want to us win every trophy possible and watch my club play at Wembley. Same applied League 1 and the Johnstone Paints Trophy. It’s not as if Nuneaton have a recent history of winning trophies. Playing in the Vase like Hereford did is part of the journey in building the club back up to its traditional level. Nuneaton fans putting their nose up at the chance to play at Wembley!! If you look at the winners of the Vase you’ll struggle to find a village club. Quite a few used it as a catalyst to go higher up the divisions
  6. I run the ressie regular with work. Defo a PB track bar a few tricky turns I could do with something chilled given I’m run 8 miles the day after.
  7. Need £9million to get money back on amortisation. Will be a loan
  8. Actually with a reference point given it’s a nod to a piece of art in the Rijksmuseum. Whereas LCFC hit the sensitivity mark bang on
  9. Thank fcuk we don’t have to deal with Cov next season. Silly weirdos crying cos Bolton’s media team used an Enemy song for a pre playoff final video.
  10. This is why people dislike Nuneaton and it’s numerous football clubs
  11. Good to see us do it. Should do a couple more around the county as well
  12. They’ve had a reported interest from the Guardian in McKenna for about five months Tbf. Generally if one of the broadsheets pushes it, there’s something in it
  13. People are too tribal here (where praise of another club is seen as a dig at their own club). its little to do what they achieved and more to do with they want to achieve. Their owners and backroom have spotted that progression is slowing and want to avoid going any further backwards. It’s them showing ambition rather than accepting the norm/mean.
  14. Also fair play Brighton for doing exactly what we should have done with Rodgers
  15. Brighton won’t touch Enzo. Why? Him and De Zerbi are big mates. They won’t want a character of a similar vein and Enzo be recultant to join given what De Zerbi said to him.
  16. Would be a back up to Thiago Motta who is their main target id assume
  17. Lost last night which ended their chances of automatic promotion. Took just two points from the last possible nine and missed out by three points. Playoffs for them
  18. We went Bedworth today for my 8th Park Run location. Good course, nice number. A couple of hills on each of the three laps which added to it. 23rd today with 24:14. Think my next foray out will be Birmingham in a couple of weeks
  19. Thought I’d start this early. Series 2 of Unchained is out on 11th June; getting criticised because the latest trailer hints at asking questions about doping. I’m delighted to see that UAE team have allowed Pogi to be featured. Alaphillipe is featured too and appears a fascinating subplot of him and the team director not seeing eye to eye Some key bits of info for 2024 Cavendish put off retirement for a year in an attempt to get the stage wins record. Typically the route doesn’t have much opportunity for sprinters. Stage 9 has been criticised heavily for its gravel track sections. Starts in Florence with 4 stages featuring Italy, some we have some early Alpinnes and Alps action. No Paris finish due to the Olympics. Final stage is an individual time trail of Monaco to Nice. Climbs of Puy Mary, Tourmalet, Hourquette d’Ancizan, Col de Mente. Stage 19 features two plus 2k metre climbs - finishing on Cima de la Bonette, 2,802 metres! The highest point on any Grand Tour ever! Stage 20 is a constant battle of climbing too. Any hopes of saving your legs before a trial time? No Pogacar and Thomas have both decided to the Giro. Respectively places 1st and 3rd at the moment while Vingegaaed rests up.
  20. Anything that gives the ability for fans to agree and unite. Im telling you, it might sound melodramatic but the club is built on principles from Thai democracy. Don’t challenge, don’t criticise, show off your wealth, don’t take responsibility and don’t even think about giving objectors a platform.
  21. The great unwashed of Nuneaton in my village. All the Leics clubs at Step 6 have been placed in the MFL1 division which is a decent move except the trip up to Bridgnorth. Really strong division now. They didn’t greatly restructure the MFL as expected - which in turn has given Kendal a right problem. Wolverhampton based club been put in North West Counties!
  22. Norwich brother in law says that the football was broadly boring, had no major feel or sustainability to it and was largely propped up by Sara and Sargarets goals
  23. Remember everyone signing Romanians and Bulgarians post 1994 1990 was a watershed in this regards - it was the last World Cup with West Germany, USSR, Czechoslovakia for example. Costa Rica had to use one of their clubs shirts as their second kit. Tickets were pretty much widely on sale on the day. The USA then showed FIFA how to market the hell out of it all.
  24. Totally. 2002 was last International competition without widespread internet use. Hence we didn't have a clue who Senegal were. By 2006, people knew what players Togo had.
  25. Won't happen. Mainly because we have Tigers at home every fortnight.
