  1. Nelson was superb when he first came in. Thinking the Norwich game away specifically before he got injured. He might be nursing through that injury given our issues
  2. In terms of large stadium yeah, Ibrox in there too. After that I'd probably have Bramall Lane and Blundell Park. The UK is probably Glentoran. My favourite in the country is Bath City and the two others I'd have in my top three non-league are St Albans and Gainsborough.
  3. Sarajevo and Bosnia is winning. Belgrade actually reminded me at times of Thessaloniki
  4. Some maths PPG has us needing 49 to catch West Brom. After today, WBA have by far the toughest run-in. So 5 wins If we mirror our results and others for the remaining games from their previous fixtures. Norwich 39+12 = 51 Pompey 39+12 = 51 Blackburn 38 + 12 = 50 West Brom 35+16 = 51 Leicester 34+16 = 50
  5. A lot more hopeful. We’ve got a lot of mid table to play at home and 7 home games too. Personally I think as little as 5 wins does. It would be above average if that’s the case. I still think there’s a team in that pack above that can fall like Stoke
  6. That's essentially next choice. That or its less Balkans, Ljubliana/Slovenia
  7. I thought **** it at the weekend while in Belgrade - ran 17k - not quick by any stretch but needed to get something out. Legs in bits for three days. Went back out two days later to do 5k. We will get there
  8. Belgrade. A real vibe city - nightlife superb, not pretty to look at, free public transport but incredible shaky, not a huge amount of attractions, Serbs like to booze. It reminded me of Berlin - they are very pretty places to eat and drink, you just need to know where to go. The only reason I don't think it's been taken over by British lads is that Ryanair don't fly there. There's some beauty in it not being this perfectly formed city. The derby was incredible to be at but then heard a story off a lad from Leeds next to me who got beat up by Russians at the game! I'm 50/50 if I'd visit again but it is time to go deeper into the Balkans.
  9. Yep, new yellow jersey leader for footballing experience. The Belgrade derby. An intensity I've not come across before. Absolute bedlam at times. Okay their tifo display wasn't great but the pure pyro and noise huge. Partizan had the away end on literal fire at one point. Crvena with the best pyro show I've seen live. The quality on the pitch downright dreadful bar an excellent third goal. Shame Partizan were done by a disgrace of VAR call - as 2-1 with fifteen to play would have been fun. Also did; a second tier game held at Bezanija FK which is in Novi Belgrade (a huge estate built in the 70s and 80s) - no atmosphere, goalless but just bizarre (Chinese restaurant for half-time) Vojvodina in Novi Sad on Saturday - proper run down stadium, couldn't see the ultras as in same stand but they looked the part. The 30 from Novi Pazar chuffed they won 3-0
  10. For as long as the current system is in place. You just lose the 50 points granted from the season ticket
  11. They don’t go away. They stay on record
  12. Wednesday kept saying the same. Then they started next season on minus points
  13. Off Belgrade tomorrow and I don't think I ever seen such a bonkers weather forecast. Arrive in 14 degrees, blue skies and sunshine. Saturday is snow and back up to highs of 16 on Monday!
  14. Vulgar, crude, pissboiling football that can unite the masses. Ball goes in the channel, win the second ball, compact the block.
  15. I hope the auction doesn't take up 45 minutes this time!
  16. THIS Let's just boil piss for three month.
  17. Mixed bag for me. Hardly pulled up trees at Lommel despite Man City backing, part of disaster Sunderland and zero experience of senior role at an English football club. Good luck fella
  18. Same here. Absolutely zero interest in getting out and running. I have set myself a hard date of Manchester Half in October and then probably go on holiday after.
  19. It's going to be like Right wing Corbyn isn't it? The echo chamber screaming this is going places, this is working until it comes to actual real life.
  20. If you want to confuse yourself further, one of the biggest defenders are Baby Squad members, one of whom has stood as a UKIP councillor before. How a person of anti-immigration, anti-establishment opinion ends up arrested/banned for defending a foreign football club owner and being violent with it is incredible. Throw in the Starmer chants. It's an amazing study of sociology and psychology.
  21. I think Percy would dispute that. He;'s had the phone call a couple of times about writing nasty words.
  22. Didn’t quite commit that. All four of them danced around it without making an implied comment on the ownership/lack of management
  23. Simpson had no issue making a comment at the De Mont event last year about the existing squad
  24. He probably leaves bottom of M40 West London. The jaunt up to Warwickshire not too difficult compared to tackling London every day getting south of the river into Croydon
