No cos he’s shit at his job but that wasn’t the point of the original poster.

I’d argue pre season preparation (which was a disaster under Cooper for example), getting coaches aligned with existing sports science/conditioning staff and alignment of transfer decisions etc (this at the moment you’d assume is all over the place) They’ve had since the end of April to get this going

It’s baffling to me they haven’t tried the siege mentality/authorities out to get us approach. Zero leadership
-
History shouldn’t dictate the future. Leicester should be a top flight club. It’s not since 2013/2014 either really. Since the mid 1990s no club outside the traditional big boys has been as successful as us.

It’s only right. Gotta earn your time

But that’s because the fanbase is bigger than the Stadium. It’s important to remember that and important to remember if times were better it proves this club can have 30k season ticket holders east

Think you have to bear in mind, there will not be many clubs that have as low as a renewal rate as that in the country (as high as it seems!) Ultimately though good to see the youth numbers boosted. Badly needed

Personally hate football on plastic.

Quads have ached all, did a bit on the bike to try and wake up them up at the gym. Quad said no -
The whole ‘yeah but we’ve always been yo yo’ is another nonsense trope. Brentford, Brighton & Bournemouth fans aren’t rambling about the Third Division. Then there’s examples of some clubs in their early histories being very different to now. Huddersfield fans aren’t rambling on about their three league titles as a forgivable circumstance, they are pissed off about their time in League 1/third tier for a club which should be a second tier staple on size, stadium and history. That’s not entitled, that’s just a sensible realistic ambition. Leicester City on size, population, stadium attendance, history should be a top flight fixture

There are two breaches. Breach 1 Breached for period ending 30th June 2023, Claimed loophole, survived. This three year period we were in the PL for all of it, breach charge whilst we are in the Championship. Breach 2 Period ending 1st June 2024 goes as follows (this is for 2 season PL + 1 season championship) In January 2025, PL announced that LCFC and PL are subject to arbitration on previous years case and establishing jurisdiction extent. They didn’t say no prem club had breached but rather as it stood no breaches were found at that time (of course they were awaiting our arbitration). In May 2025, PL statement says Following an Arbitration Tribunal’s decision concerning jurisdiction, Leicester City FC has now been referred to an independent Commission for alleged breaches of: - the EFL Championship Profit and Sustainability Rules (P&S Rules) for Season 2023/24 - the club’s obligation to provide its Annual Accounts to the Premier League by 31 December 2024 - the club’s obligation to provide full, complete and prompt assistance to the Premier League in response to the League’s inquiries Firstly, jurisdiction and loophole cleared up so PL can apply the breach for period ending June 2024. There in plain English. Then the bigger point is the club, the club failed to submit the FFP calculations / accounts on time, so there’s no way PL could say we hadn’t breached. We are being charged for our second breach rather than the first alleged. Just they closed the loophole to avoid a repeat of the first . Therefore the statement we breached in January is correct rather the PL needed to know if they had the power and couldnt enforce until May

We did breach

7 years ago. If he wants to do his Dad justice, he needs to step up to the plate, not spending the week messing around playing Polo
-
This will upset some but; The grief and mourning lines are getting strained. It’s 7 years ago now. Theres not a day that goes by that I don’t think of my lost parent. But I try to do their memory justice by working hard, looking after those around me and strive to make myself better. Aiyawatt spent the week on the polo pitches rather than making decisive action after 3 seasons of poor performance

There’s nothing fun about the Sutton Fun Run. It has to be one of the hilliest routes I’ve ever ran. 8.5 miles feels like 13. Anyway decent run at my level at the moment - 1hr 16 over 13.6k -
I get the Tigers pre / post match stuff is better but it would be the death knell for many of a pub if LCFC did. Happy to expect that a lot fo Tigers fans go straight from station to ground

Carlisle relegated out of the Football League. Fans pissed off with newish American ownership. Within a week issued an apology claiming error and responsibility. Two weeks later Mark Hughes confirmed as staying as manager. Just made their first signing for next season yesterday ****ing Carlisle with their resources have worked quicker than us and have a worse position.
-
Btw the ideal is you get a split scenario where you have one person with a significant link at minority ownership and then two or three others involved. That normally concentrates as the minds as all parties want success
-
Villa, Bournemouth, Burnley, Palace, Everton, Fulham, Liverpool, Ipswich, Millwall, Portsmouth, Wrexham, Sheffield United, WBA, Birmingham, Lincoln, Reading. All American owners who at the very least have a handle on how to run a football club. Penny is dropping at Chelsea too and you could argue Arsenal are still well ran but can’t get it over the line. A lot of American owners appear to learn over time; Fulham, Birmingham and Liverpool good signs of that. Dont get me wrong they all have failures with their fan engagement but we have the worst of both. Incompetent stewardship, erosion of fan support. The first one will buy most fans support. Arsenal fans wouldn’t be complaining if the trophies were in the cabinet. Bottom line is that they run it like a business. South-East Asian ownership is so wrapped up on status and political posturing, that they won’t change

It’s worth reading what happened in their first five to ten years of their establishment. Certainly a world away from them now and led by a great, Just Fontaine
-
Think that's nonsense by Dorsett personally. Bloke is about as near as you can get to the club
-
Worth reading up on PSGs history really interesting
