Town. If they carry on, they will challenge Nuneaton, Atherstone and Aylestone. Players like Liam Read are easy top step 4/mid step 3. To be fair at Lutterworth's budget, they won't be on stacks of money.

Aye the ticket sales prove that.

It's not all big clubs though is it? It includes Forest and Palace. The same applies years ago when Wigan and Birmingham both qualified for Europe.
-
Watched France and Portugal last night. Some cracking talent but both were woeful at taking their chances

We dodged a bullet here

Real shame given how hard some of their supporters worked to get a new ground

The other point I'd make Finnaldo is my strong gut is that the club was shut down because the floodlights company claim on them was so strong. Ku as well know with his experience in these matters shut it all down before any financial orders could be held against him as the sole director of the company. I am not surprised that all football played there from now on won't require floodlights for example

By the way what's even madder is that this tournament is actually being played the same time as the CONCACAF Gold Cup in the US!
-
DAZN & Channel 5. It is a waste of time and players are played far too much but you have to acknowledge that to the other continents this is so big for them. The South American and African teams in particular are bang up for this.

Just on a side note to what I was party to on my session; You can actually assign a ticket via exchange to a non member. You have to set up a fan account but you don’t need to be a member to receive a ticket as a transfer. I wasn’t aware of that at the time.

Neither of Trust reps were on that group - so can’t really help with the context annoyingly. Personally the line of using ‘stories’ isnt right. It has to be factual for me to be recorded in that manner

An on loan Forest player at Strasbourg gave away a last minute penalty after being carded within injury time already on the last dsy of the season. This ensured Le Havre beat Strasbourg and pushed Lyon into the Europa League
-
If you want go Le Tiss, look up what player gave away a penalty to ensure Lyon got to Europe

We’ve been here before. Remember Al Fawaz?

To be fair, Mahrez captained Algeria to the AFCON in 2019 and has appeared at World Cup. The snobbery speaks more for the failure to look at the wider world game.
-
Their way of progression has been to aim for better and more experienced too. I don't think that works at Championship level but the signing of Smith from Reading in January suggests there is an acknowledgement to change.
-
Very true. But that’s Ku for you.

Excellent podcast with the likes of Rory Smith and James Horncastle. Hilariously to hear what DoF/DS are supposed to do rather than our bloke

Just got back from Berlin for four days. Fair to see we got the Berliner experience excepting a rave. We were very lucky with the weather until a thunderstorm on Saturday and then yesterday. After a Thursday walking the landmarks around Mitte and drinking/eating around Rosa-Luxembourg Platz, we went off to Kreuzberg, Fredrichshain and Neukollen over the next few days. So many brilliant bars. A lovely afternoon in a beer garden at Tiergarten. It's easy or not so easy to forget how young of a city it is. The juxtaposition of its residents is made. Your nightlife areas are in one of the larger Muslim immigrant areas within Europe! I have seen far too many drug deals too. Really joined Fredrichshain / Boxhagener Platz on Friday night. If you haven't been the Topography of Terror & DDR Museum are the highlights for me of history.

The winner for best pint in Berlin this weekend was a Lubzer Pils from a Germanic restaurant. That or the aesthetic of a Berliner Kindl in a beer garden.

The Running Thread (formerly How fast can you run a 5k?)
CosbehFox replied to Sly's topic in General Chat
Berlin Park Run; very quick, was chuffed going sub 26 with a Thai curry and about six pints of German pilsner running through my veins. Talking of veins; the novel spectators of the local junkies and drug dealers brings a real charm to it but it's actually a pretty course with one hill to haul up towards the end. But it's not far off perfect ParkRun terrority. -
Thank Fcuk they’ve gone. A ghost club ran by a con man. That article accuses players of being Judas but doesn’t mention unpaid wages. They have known this was going to be case for months but they’ve delayed it until after the league projections. Zero respect from other clubs

Article says they intend to run their youth teams etc fron thete
