  1. Want to do the really geeky thing of taking the train which uses the ferry to get to Sicily
  2. Iversen woukd have paid for the **** up of Edouard. But instead now we have the worst of both
  3. What Man City game is that? He came on against Rennes for like five minutes
  4. Top already done that. And even if he hadn't, he hasn't got any more clue that the 'women who probably don't understand football'.
  5. Well given my autistic over-organisational traits, I've started to eye up the next trips. Definitely going Bari in November but a few pointers I am looking at. I have a list of European ground I'd like to visit it but these are the most immediate. Belgrade derby (always no1.), Morton (bloody big crane), Arbroath (cos the location), Glentoran (cos the ground is the GOAT in the UK), Quick Boys (tail it with a park run Z), about four in Belgium (Racing Mechelen or Olympic Charleroi the best of the lot), Nantes & Strasbourg (respective derbies), Valencia (high up the list), Kaiserslautern, Borrusia Neunkirchen (look it up!), all of Italy but Bari & Lecce in particular - although Udine & Verona, there is a superb set of flights which allow a quick jaunt to Atalanta from East Mids, Hajduk Split, PAOK, Arka v Lechia In the UK - thinking of targeting a ground each month which is outside of the norm Marine, FC United, Worcester (now at the rugby ground), Hastings Town, Mossley, Bourne Town, Malvern (so I can do the superb nags head pub), Great Yarmouth, MFL & all as many UCL as possible. Other information Serie A have ambitously said 6th June for their fixtures. August bank Holiday - both Milan clubs playing at San Siro due to Winter Olympics.
  6. He was terribly inconsistent last time. His performance at Bristol city away for example. He was well truly part of that wobble we had leading up to Easter Monday.
  7. Increasingly convinced that it’s simply the business culture he and KP come from which says they must have approval on everything. They simply can’t do minority ownership because they would rather cut their nose to spite their face about it. The respect is line reeks of nonsense, it’s about power and being perceived to be strong. If the structure says as it does we heading the way of Cardiff, Reading, Wednesday (and don’t think Wolves be far behind). There’s a pattern there
  8. Some dollar being put down then
  9. Would be a good signing - sort of player which see them become less channels, more football on the deck.
  10. You are going to find this more and more. Costs of gigs is so high that bands are aiming for arenas now
  11. It will default to your last three season rolling. So no free for all. 2026/27 was spoken about. Sensible proposals but we will see what happens. At the last FCC, I suggested as low as 15 priority points per season because that allows some catch up across a season. The thing to bear in mind is that if we go back up to the PL, you are highly likely to find away tickets even as digital. QPR are next season
  12. More bothered about his air time on The Overlap. FG are nearer to a supporters trust than a fan group IMO Going to be hilarious when a relatively small club turn up there and take the piss, someone like Djurgarden or similar
  13. I am going to call third choice at a club what need the home grown quota
  14. It’s very much the formulaic easy watch as always but Tucci in Italy is lovely for 45 mins
  15. Nowhere near the budget Martin wants
  16. More than a little sad how it’s all ended up for Facundo. At some point he will do very well for someone. Works his bollocks off and which sometimes leads to him holding onto the ball too much. Largely ignored by Ruud despite a performance against West Ham which was as good as it got for us all season A far better record than El Khannouss for goal involvements. 5 goals and 2 assists in the league for a terrible side Can we sign an Argie next season please
  17. Statue for Buonanotte on the A46 at the Seagrave turn off
  18. 24/25 Season Review Overall Grounds now - 321 This season I am hoping to:- Finally finish off the 92 - Complete. Did Wrexham early doors & Bromley in February. Next season back down to 91 with Everton and considering doing some of the grounds I did years ago again like Lincoln. Other thing is to try and door grounds I haven't seen Leicester at (Oxford & Wrexham) Complete Midland Football League Premier Division - 15/18 - Ended up staying away from this as they are all sorts changes next year. Complete Southern League Midlands Premier 18/22 - Did Kettering & Royston Complete Northern Premier League Division 1 Midlands 22/22 - Was complete Dent away at UCL North (1/17) & UCL South (5/20) - Decent progress on South, now at 12/19 while North is 6/18 I have things booked or planned for:- Lech Poznań - excellent atmosphere, would become champions this week. That did the two grounds I wanted to do in Poland but then I noticed a Lechia v Arka derby is on next season Juventus - sneaky Italy trip with this missus. Most Premier League atmosphere ever in Serie A. Dundee derby - Helped by an excellent game; proper derby and a decent city Stockholm weekender - Now a Bajen boy. Excellent weekend. Probably the height of ground hopping. New grounds which impressed were Lakenheath (very standard set-up but interestingng location), St Neots (Step 3 ground really), Cambridge City (excellent modern stadium with a club looking in the right direction). Other notes were that I thoroughly enjoyed watching Quorn this season, Swedish football has the culture spot on, the 92 was anti-climax, Ipswich is a better away day/ground then given credit, Arsenal facilities the best boozing. Kettering's ground is awful.
  19. Some major overestimation in terms of numbers within the supporters group and/or equally, try to rely on a supporters group to set something up.
  20. Not 100% - but looking towards end of June (couple of more events we want to get the word out at) and then a bit of time to present in a decent format. Hard copy of the results will be released. However, again not 100%, we've spoke about doing a call or video type address. Want to be more engaging with it then as happened previously.
  21. Went Braybrooke's Taproom last week - high recommend
  22. A fair Blues fan I know says they are not the most physical of teams and thinks they will get bullied by some in midfield in particular
  23. Thing is the UCL South as well, you always have a chance of one of the southern clubs throwing some money at it and it’s a different player pool. Newport Pagnell had three goes at it and missed out but think they have a decent budget (host MK Dons women for example)
  24. Nothing to do with three very solid seasons in an European top flight. Weird revisionist comments on him. Did very well with Reims for two seasons, this season with Lens pretty standard
  25. It will mean a lot to Betis, their trophy cabinet isn’t huge and particularly with the success of their city rivals in Europe, it’s important to them
