I think any manager worth his salt will come in and think they can improve the players at their disposal. We don't know if Marti has come in and seen something in Soumare that make him think he could be useful to us this season. For the manager all players should be given a clean slate. Whether or not they got us relegated previously should be irrelevant (just to clarify I would like him and many others to get in the bin).

Definitely less. Unless he's being paid in apples or Deliveroo vouchers. So actually maybe you're correct.

Obviously feeling pessimistic at the moment, like a lot of others on here. I can't see a positive short-term outcome here. The wrong managerial appointment and everyone has their pitchforks out, demanding change from the very top (literally), and the atmosphere both on and off the pitch remains toxic. If they strike gold with a good managerial appointment, it will alleviate the heat on Top and Rudkin and they will feel justified in their decisions and mean that the senior leadership remains unchanged. Obviously I would prefer the latter as I've forgotten what it's like to enjoy watching football. It's never dull at Leicester but sometimes I wish it was.
