Excellent, glad to see him giving Buonanotte game time, because that's going to be incredibly useful for us next season. 🤦♂️

As always, great podcast lads. It's a 2 hour therapy session for me. it says something about our season when I look forward to the podcast more than us playing.

Christ, that hit harder than I ever expected it to. It angers me to see the best we've ever had leave at the end of one of the worst seasons I've ever witnessed. Absolute legend. Going to be weird seeing him playing for a different team (my money is on Wrexham).

I had the notification of the goal come up on my phone before the notification that the game had kicked off. Absolute shambles

I keep posting these here and don't want to sidetrack from the plane banner, but if anyone is keen for badges, t-shirts etc to help with any protest, I am happy to help create some.
-
Think getting some stickers/badges for people to wear is an easy way to get people involved
-
Any help you need, give me a shout

Would be good to have something like this that fans can stick over the badges on their shirts (look, I was bored between meetings):

Regardless of what you think of the performances, I don't think the idea of sticking it to someone who is bereft of any confidence is a good idea, and doesn't benefit anyone.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

I'd take Cooper back at this point. We were terrible but at least we were in games. I wanted to like him but enough is enough. If this was the start of the season he'd be gone. I've no idea who should come in, but we have to plan for next season. We need someone who is more about getting the fundamentals right first, which is absolutely criminal to say for a team playing in the biggest league in the world. -
I've lost patience with RVN now. For all the dross we saw under Cooper, we at least were in games.

Appreciate your positivity but I disagree. We have been sleepwalking into the current state the club is in; poor signings, inflated wages and an enormous amount of talent leaving the club on a free. I do agree I wouldn't swap our last 10 years with any other non top 6 club, but that's no excuse for the lack of forward planning. Admittedly we were probably in a state of shock from winning the league and didn't really know what to do next, I get that. But that was 9 years ago. The club is a business. We have absolutely squandered a once in a lifetime opportunity to become an established top 8 team due to carelessness and mismanagement. Any CEO that was in charge of a company spiralling out of control like Leicester are would be shown the door pretty sharpish, so why are there no changes at the club to reverse the direction we are going in? I absolutely agree we should be realistic. Realism to me is acknowledging there are problems at the club and finding a solution to fix them. Until the club publicly acknowledges this and starts making changes to reverse it, we will continue to drop down the league and more importantly, lose the connection with the fans.

If the club had been transparent with the fans, retained all our players and recalled others from loan to fight for a place, I'd be slightly less annoyed at this. The fact that we are in a relegation scrap and we have weakened our squad is self-sabotage like I've never witnessed. However it does make me cling on to the hope we at least have some loan signings coming in from abroad. If we don't, then I'm clueless as to what is going on. We may as well have just retained Cooper and let him get on with it, at least in the process saving us some money in binning him off.

Am I right in thinking our front 3 have a combined age of 102? FML.

State of the squad and rest of the season, an opinion.

Really difficult place to start from, but you'd imagine Ruud is well aware of the challenge ahead. He needs to instill some belief in the players and get them to buy into his ideas. He does this and at the very least I hope we see some effort from the players. Thats a good starting point. He also needs to instill respect; something cooper clearly had none of. -

I've been the same, I spent longer watching interviews of him yesterday than I did spending time with my kids. -

The man is a knitwear god. I've already spent my December wage on a collection of merino wool tops. -
Pretty sure it was 9 years ago and 11 goals or did I miss him getting another record 👀

Ruud awakening for the Premier League!

If we can have a bit of this against arsenal then I'm more than happy with his appointment. -
We love an ex Swansea manager don't we? I'm definitely a yes for Potter. I just hope we get him this time, because if I get home from work to find out we've approached Southampton for Russell Martin then I'm going to kill myself.

I also did this. So are we saying if we want to get rid of Cooper, we have to watch us play? I'm not sure I'm ready for that.
