It really is. it reminds me of how as a teenager I wanted to end a relationship with a girl. I thought I'd act like a dick until she decided to leave, rather than doing the right thing and speaking to her. It's our 25th wedding anniversary this year.

There's a reason the term "blind loyalty" exists. Blind loyalty, also known as blind obedience or uncritical loyalty, is a form of devotion where individuals support a person, group, or cause without questioning their actions or motives, even if those actions are harmful or unethical. It can be detrimental to personal growth, justice, and progress.

Every day he's still in the job the more gobsmacked I am. As many people have said before, senior management like a DoF role in any other industry would've seen him moved on long ago.

I disagree with the notion Rodgers wasn't a good coach for us. Not only did we get an FA cup and Community shield win, we played in Europe and we were responsible for some of the best football I've ever seen as a Leicester fan. At one point we were absolutely demolishing teams for fun. We could pretty much beat anyone. As someone else has already stated, the blame lies with the leadership of the club for not identifying the rot in the club and doing something about it. Rodgers may have been a total car crash for his last 18 months, but like many managers, he probably believed he could turn it around. I wish he had left with his reputation intact rather than mentally checking out. I imagine he also wasn't keen to leave without a substantial pay out. Can you blame him?

If it is Martin, I can't say I'm utterly convinced by the appointment. There have been other people mentioned that I'd have preferred (Rohl, for example), but I'll be behind him if he is appointed. Two things I'd be interested to hear from Saints/Swans fans - how was the fitness of the players and did there appear to be a good bond between him and the squad? Did they buy into his ideas or were they like us when Potter came in? Having a team with strong mentality and sense of togetherness is something I feel like we have lacked for years.

I find the timing very suspect, as well as ability to retrospectively changing the rules. This has been done for maximum impact; they could've very easily deducted us points this year, but as we have been a lost cause since December and have come to the obvious conclusion that penalising us next season will hurt us more. But I definitely don't think we are being singled out here. The only thing that is being singled out about us is that we are the only premier league team with an incompetent leadership.

Christ, that hit harder than I ever expected it to. It angers me to see the best we've ever had leave at the end of one of the worst seasons I've ever witnessed. Absolute legend. Going to be weird seeing him playing for a different team (my money is on Wrexham).

Regardless of what you think of the performances, I don't think the idea of sticking it to someone who is bereft of any confidence is a good idea, and doesn't benefit anyone.

Agree though, definitely owners who have never basked in the glory.
