  1. Attended the Nuneaton Town meeting club doing okay finance wise... club have certainly overachieved. Mainly down to the good support they estimated originally only get 200 at bedworth but the average attendance as been around 400. Plus £20,000 made on merchandise which is incredible. New stadium talks, club spoke to council about potential sites in nuneaton club of course need to submit a stadium, meeting shown possible stadium design built club stand with club house, changing rooms and functions rooms etc.. A return to Liberty Way out the question landlord not wanting to do business wants the ground for rugby use only even though Nuneaton Nuns RFC have not agreed to anything. Things seem positive
  2. Patrick van Aanholt for holland, he was good
  3. Lol how about Ghezza Another masterclass from Rudkin.
  4. Taking us away from all issues of the current Leicester City team, thought it would be good to go through the Best Leicester Player from almost every country from the globe and be interesting see everyone's choice, please see below Albania: Algeria: Argentina: Australia: Austria: Belgium: Bosnia: Brazil: Bulgaria: Cameroon: Canada: Chile: China: Columbia: Costa Rica: Croatia: Czech Republic: Denmark: Ecuador: Egypt: England: Finland: France: Germany: Ghana: Greece: Hungary: Iceland: Iran: Israel: Italy Ivory Coast: Jamaica: Japan: Mexico: Morroco: Netherlands: New Zealand: Nigeria: Northern Ireland: Norway: Peru: Poland: Portugal: Republic Of Ireland: Romania: Russia: Scotland: Senegal: Serbia: Slovakia: Slovenia: South Africa: Spain: Sweden: Switzerland: Thailand: Tunisia: Turkey: Ukraine: United States: Uruguay: Wales: Be interesting if we have had a former fox that is played nearly of all of these nations.
  5. Well Leicester for example have got whole county to choose from so would plenty of space an issue and as you say London is complicated as there simply no space unless you demolish and rebuild on your own land... Stamford bridge unable to do that. Im sure a decade ago there was some sort talk of Chelsea and Fulham groundsharing stadium but came to nothing. Similar to Liverpool and Everton.
  6. Not premier league but Birmingham are trying build a 60,000 stadium... second city I get but have Birmingham City got 60,000 fans plus planning this before they even got to the top flight. Ambition is one thing but realism is another.
  7. Yeah shopping centre and hotel their instead.
  8. Sevilla at home... the atmosphere that night electric. Albrightons goal wow the roar!
  9. Typical premier league club noiser away from home. Why im not sure? I guess away days you spend a few hours having a few beers... visiting the ale houses, whilst home games for many. Your coming straight from home...
  10. Villa yet to lose at home in champions league, but PSG will be too strong for them. It's very quiet in Liverpool tonight
  11. Where was the famous Anfield atmopshere it was so silent in that pen shootout except for PSG fans.
  12. Be interesting see which other club will build a mega stadium, Chelsea want to of course but seems impossible for some reason plus redevelopment of stamford bridge is limited. They biggest loss was missing out on the london stadium, though it's not a great stadium of football it was probably their only chance of moving into 60,000 stadium. You do wonder if at some point we could see two clubs in London sharing a mega new stadium possibly the only option for some.
  13. United never should be leaving old Trafford... the ground however has failed to upkeep on its redevelopment. Im not sure a new stadium will change united's fortunes. Tottenham's new stadium is nice to look at, but still a club dry of trophies.
  14. Chelsea are fickle bunch... don't play the right way they didn't like you. Jose way was never pretty but they loved him... To be honest the best manager Chelsea ever had in recent times was Ancelotti... in his first they destroyed opposition. Second season, they were still good finished 2nd... but for some reason the Chelsea fans turned on him and wanted him out. Just seems like they want everything manager that comes needs to be like Jose. Seems less likely you will ever see a manager there get beyond two seasons. I do think think Poch stays at Chelsea, they would have been higher and maybe more of threat to Liverpool.
  15. Anything with danny dyer is a switch off. Someone needs to tell him he cant act.
  16. There will be a lot of man u fans in the home end. A lot of leicester fans will be skipping this, including myself... sunday night 7pm before work... no chance. Giving the ticket to a mate and her son.
  17. I do wished he retired last season, ended on a high. Sadly his last remaining season will be relegation season.
  18. For me we need to offload the old guard, probably what is holding us back. Id keep Mads, Mavadidi, Fatawu, Okoli, Skipp, Winks, Bilal, McAteer The rest move on...
  19. Interesting one that, looking at possible candidates for that job. Paul Warne i can imagine is favourite for the job.
  20. Good solid first half, but another 45 to go can we remain solid.
  21. I think we had a better team in 2002... not saying much. Poor management and coaching after O'Neill led to our downfall. 2004 im not sure how we got relegated based on the players we had, all can i say it was experienced squad with aging players.
  22. Non league football is the place to be now, tbh. I never get fans who support man u or Liverpool and they live in say Loughborough and they spent a fortune on match tickets at anfield which may cost £60-£100 plus travel yet they could pop down the local non league for just £10, enjoy a few beers, watch footy, bit banter between fans and know your money is going straight into club funds to keep them afloat. For non league clubs making a profit is the bonus whilst having enough funds to keep the club going season by season is the main aim.
  23. Bramall Lane is a good away day aswell. I was looking forward to a trip to Kenilworth Road, not been there in 12 years but not going i dont think.
