Football stadium tours
Leicesterpool replied to broadstone fox's topic in General Football and Sport
Interestingly yet to do the King Power, probably will this year. I've done a few so far Villa Park: Very enjoyable so well detailed and quite a lengthy one a good two hours, staff very friendly. Amsterdam Arena: Impressive stadium, but tour a tad disappointed, thought it was very restrictive. Got to see the dugouts, home dressing room, press conference and museum which was good but I don't know expected a little more from a club of that size.. Tour was done in like 40 minutes. Stamford Bridge: Very entertaining, staff friendly and told some great stories. Apparently in changing rooms I was sitting on John Terry's fave seat without knowing. A lot of good fact's and interest. A good 90 minute tour. ....should have done Ibrox... but on the day overslept and missed it, was staying in Edinburgh and should have got an early morning train from Edinburgh to Glasgow. Tour started at 10am... train was about 8am... my hotel was on the outskirts of Edinburgh so needed to be up for 6.30am... what happens never heard alarm and woke up at 8am. Screwed it! rang club up to see if I could swap on the later tour, sadly that was the only tour of the day. -
Some experienced in premier league relegation scraps... way things are going we may end up with Big Sam.

Leicester Vs Ipswich- 18th May - Jamie Vardy final game?
Leicesterpool replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
Depends on the manager, RVN or whoever may not want a 39 year old striker next season. -
only just noticed... we have have to blame someone. RVN that's better...
-
Time for interim I think, just someone till the end of the season just till we decide what to do over the summer, I want to say Dyche but I'm not sure he wants to come.

How does this team do in the Championship?
Leicesterpool replied to hejammy's topic in Leicester City Forum
Between 10th to 15th, championship will likely be harder next year with potentially birmingham and wrexham coming up who will no doubt be busy in the transfer window once promoted. -
Cant blame rvp too much with the squad and board... but he aint helping sadly. He looks well beaten.

Just five wins for Boro to gain promotion following a 6-2 home win over Sutton 'Coldfield' United. Attendance: 489. Really enjoying the football and the trips this season. Seeing plenty of goals for sure and being entertained... compared to what were seeing at KP 🙄

The players we had then probably were better than this current crop.

Vestergaard likely first down the tunnel, he never had any respect for us. Apart from letting nine goals past him when we faced him at Soton.

Leicesterpool replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ruud is doomed, i think he will praying to be sacked to get out of this mess. -
Players got no respect and club got no respect. Happily steal our money...

Was there any seals at the end clapping the players? I was gone at 83 seen enough.

Bit like titanic we're sinking fast with no hope.

A scrappy goal but we will win 1-0. Someone has to be optimistic i guess.

Stadium seemed to be designed in way to make multi use, like Tottenham Hotspur. It was made in mind so they can host American football and concerts. Of course they need that revenue to pay for the stadium. Times have moved on where a stadium is built just for football, I remember when the Walkers was built early talks begin it being shared with the Tigers full time. London Stadium is probably the first ever venue that was built originally for non football related to be then later converted into a football stadium but at the same time remain an athletics arena... which is huge problem for West Ham. Man City when they moved into the Etihad or City of Manchester Stadium as known as then was originally built for the commonwealth games in Manchester, however deal was agreed once the games was finished the ground would be fully given to Man City and to do whatever use of it as they please. Maybe even demolish it if they wanted and rebuild from scratch. West Ham have to keep it as is or have to ask permission to do any sort of redevelopment.

Looks impressive but, typical new stadium... the atmosphere likely will be dull, bowl shame stadiums in football just seem to kill an atmosphere. I'm yet to see a club move into a new stadium and experience a better atmosphere. Imagine one of the best atmopshere's in the country used to be Upton Park... since moving to London Stadium atmosphere there is stale.
