  1. Tbf it's nonsense speculation 🤷 looking good anyway!
  2. In a way, but bad kicks happen, you adjust. As soon as they see that kick, every player should be reacting. Thomas and Justin most of all but everyone should be dropping immediately.
  3. It's happened boiiiiiii. 90th times the charm! Wordle 293 1/6* 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  4. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. He's been an absolute bomb-scare all season. I've not enjoyed having him on the pitch. I thought he was very good last night when he came on but he's got a long way to go to earn any trust again for me.
  5. So he's like a French Sean Dyche?
  6. Give it a rest, go back to Footy Manager manager
  7. Marco with the smart pass, love that man.
  8. Just about to say how wank he is after that awful touch
  9. France, roughly.
  10. The thesaurus your nan got you went down well.
  11. I still well up when I hear people talk about Vichai. It always catches me off guard as well. It's amazing what one man's legacy can do. I don't know how we dug deep after what happened yet we managed it. Kasper, man. What a wonderful ambassador to the club. There'll be a big hole to fill the day he leaves.
  12. I've wondered this, he does look like he lumbers a bit at times. Hopefully it's identified and it gives him a bit more mobility because at the moment he just seems to drift around. Taller centre mids like Toure, Viera, Gerrard have all seemed a lot more mobile, I was hoping to see some of their strengths in him from the highlights I'd seen. The guys young and in a new country though, I'm happy to give him well into next season. He's shown some of what he can do, I love how he shields the ball as it comes across him and takes it on the turn to move forward, I want to see more of that. He's either lacking confidence or he's been instructed to be more conservative for now.
  13. No point rushing things at this stage. He's been out for long enough, any setbacks could really **** him over physically and mentally. I know we're in short supply of defenders but a guy who's not played in nearly a year isn't suddenly gonna fix everything.
  14. Do you not think that that's what makes him him though? I'm a believer that you've got to take people for what they are. Yes, you can point out their positives and negatives, but at the end of the day these often mould your personality. He's a strong character, stubborn, believes in himself. These contributed to him being confrontational and at times losing it if we're honest. But these are traits that also mean he has faith in players, that he gets players playing for him, that sometimes mean you develop clubman that will stick around for a decade. If he didn't have that side to him, I don't think he'd have taken this club to her heights he did.
  15. We absolutely do. But I'm sure we'll squeeze what we can out of him and I'm sure he'll want to play as much football as possible. When he's on the pitch he's massive for us. You only need to read testaments from some injury ridden players to see what they go through. Players get managed through injury all the time. This one from Batistuta is pretty shocking. https://www.eurosport.com/football/legend-batistuta-asked-doctor-to-cut-off-his-legs_sto4714361/story.shtml Different sport but still applicable... https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2020/aug/28/dylan-hartley-rugby-normalises-pain-and-injuries-its-the-reality
  16. Will echo this. I know they've got top class physios and sports scientists but they're not on them all the time. I slipped a couple of discs in my lower back when I was younger, this caused sciatia with the nerve that ran down my left leg and over time I had atrophy on that side. Muscles on the left side of my back, my arse and my left leg were all ****ed as my right side was taking up the slack due to the pain. Wouldn't wish it on anyone, it can definitely have a big effect on your whole body.
  17. Hunker down lads, I've got some cheese twists and a smorgasbord of dips. Pouring myself a big glass of rum.

    Sean Lock

This caught me off guard and I'm a bit gutted. His Catsdown stuff is one of my go-to's when I need a laugh. A very, very funny bloke that always seemed to leave other comedians in bits as well. Obviously his schtick is dour but he seemed to really love making people laugh and it was always fun to watch. I'm sure everyone that worked with him is devastated. I'm sad we won't see him on telly again, thanks for all the laughs Sean.
  19. Interestingly, just tried with chrome and it does the same thing. Not sure if I can describe it any better but when I tap the thumb up to like it pops up but doesn't stay up. Feels like it might be a phone setting/issue, any developers have any ideas?
  20. Normal people agree that racism should stop. Why go out of your way to boo it? It's a harmless gesture that doesn't affect you. Do you really think the people booing it are big on racial equality and just think it's been done in the wrong way?
  21. Completely highlights the problem doesn't it. If you know someone who's livid about it, you're dealing with a racist more often than not.
  22. Sorry this is just like he's playing with them, noticed this in a previous game. He doesn't seem to mind the ball being slammed into him under pressure, he'll just deal with it Uses his body expertly, what a talent we've got here!
  23. Used to be mad on Bad Company 2 and BF3 a fair few years back and a few of the lads have been talking about getting back into it. We've been playing some Battlefield IV(?) I think and having some fun with the idea of playing 2042 from release when there's lots of noobs and everyone's learning. Going back to BF games that have been out for years is hard so keen to give this a go and get it on ground level.
  24. I'm using a Pixel 4a, Firefox browser. Issue is that when i click the like button for a post a few like emojis pop up but immediately disappear. It seems like on a press they should pop up then you select the one you want, that seems to be how it works. But on my phone pressing the thumb up just pops it up for a second then it's gone, so I can't like/react to any posts. And ideas?
  25. I think its the first pre season video back on the youtube channel, it's near the end of the bleep test and he's winning comfortably, doesn't even look gassed. Guys come back looking like a machine.
