I think that is somewhat of an understatement although we've heard nothing about the so-called early release scheme of late.
-
Perhaps we'll replace him with Ryan Lowe sacked as PNE manager after just one game. Ridsdale (ex-Leeds) stated it was "a mutually agreed that now was an appropriate time for a change to be made"!!
-
Well, I for one, am glad we have them when you consider what we had before. Folk have such short memories.

Why do professional football clubs think Rooney has something to offer in terms of management? -
Where's that come from?

Golf, isn't that a good walk spoilt? After all who wants to keep losing their balls!!
-
I think it has already got very ugly very quickly and whatever we do or say isn't going to alter the situation.

I agree and it seems high time the whole sentencing system was overhauled.

Starmer wants to be seen as tough on crime. Fair play, but don't bleat about the prison population rising.

Good to see Leeds Utd getting off to a flying start!! -
Well, he's another politician who should mind his words. People in public life really do have a duty to behave responsibly and watch what they say.

Moronic behaviour from morons.
-
Well, I'd like to think so, HPF, but given the moronic behaviour we've recently witnessed I doubt it.

Well, we can carry this on until the cows come home which seems pointless to me, however, it appears for your benefit I need to reiterate that at that time I did feel, along with many others, thought Admin had got it wrong and I still maintain that position. Fortunately, since then things have moved on and we now have a 'Current Events' for general discussion. As the majority of news at present is mainly about politics with the recent General Election and the aftermath you are going to get posts which have political comments. PS. FYI I have read the "Guidelines".

I will do my very best to behave. Just like football, politics divide but everyone should be respectful. Thank you, Mark. Commonsense seems to have prevailed.

No wonder the Government is working on an early release programme. Perhaps they should keep the 'Bibby Stockholm' and put these hooligans in there.
-
Wouldn't expect anything less connected to Millwall.
-
Me too but for how long is in the lap of the Gods!!

Commenting on political events in the news. Apparently, not allowed.

Let's hope there's one in Tottenham when we outfox the 'Spuds'.

Well, it wasn't really much better 9 months ago was it.
