We were in 7th or 8th spot for 18 games and unable to get to the next level We had numerous chances to overhaul Burnley and even at one stage press Arsenal for 6th spot but mediocrity has set probably because we've reached that so-called magical 40+ points. Where is the ambition of the players. Too many are just happy to tread water and take their wages. No guts and unfortunately for the supporters, no glory.

There is a lot to sort out both on and off the pitch but let's be right these owners are the best this football Club has ever had. I really feel for them after all the money that has been spent on some total and utterly useless articles. I agree they may not be "football" people but they are being advised and badly at that.

Irrespective of Puel's tactics the players are the ones on the pitch. Surely, they know how to play football. It's such an easy, simple game why make it so difficult?
