  1. We'll never be satisfied until we have an official timekeeper like Rugby League. We should take this element away from the referee, dispense with the 4th official and have someone who doesn't nothing but keep a stop watch on proceedings and instruct the ref when to blow the final whistle. At least by adopting that system supporters will not get short changed!!
  2. Couldn't make it today because of the adverse weather, however, did listen on LCFC Radio. How we didn't score 3 or 4 in the second half is beyond me. Another game where we dominated but lacking that killer instinct. Mahrez confirmed again is price tag of £90-100M easily.
  3. I've had a season ticket for years so I am not "fortunate" just a life-long supporter who puts my money where my mouth is season in season out. These johnny-come-lately lot annoy me immensely as they'll all want to be at the front of the queue should we progress and reach Wembley. We saw it in the 2015/16 season and last year during our continental forays.
  4. Thank God he's not slowing down!! We need him to be as quick as ever.
  5. Chelski at home, that'll do nicely!!
  6. If we can't beat the Blades at home then we need to take a long hard look at ourselves. The result should never be in any doubt. The manager and players should focus on this game as though the next step was the Final.
  7. FA Cup semi-finals should not be played at Wembley to my mind, it never used to happen and belittles the competition.
  8. Silva will be a tremendous asset once he's up to speed and has a few EPL games under his belt.
  9. I'd rather have Mahrez here at Leicester than not. We all know his ability and his match-winning capabilities. Yes, he has been an utter fool but let's move on - he's still a Leicester City player, thankfully.
  10. Spot on, I think that has been the trouble since he arrived at Leicester. To be honest his "understudies" aren't up to much. We were in clover in that position when we had Banks & Shilton.
  11. Agreed, back to the drawing board, Kasper. Did his Dad ever concede 5 in one game?
  12. Men against boys by the sounds of it.
  13. Has the Club continued to pay him whilst he was on strike? Personally, at the end of the day I am pleased to see him back, after all, he is one of the most skilful players we have.
  14. Now he decided to start training again will he have to be introduced to the basics of the game and more importantly how to kick and control a football after all it's been such a long time since he last bothered!!
  15. I wouldn't take any notice of comments made in France. We all know Man City tried their best to get Mahrez on the cheap and as I have said before his valuation would easily be £100M plus if he was their player. The fact is Mahrez has a contract here which he happily agreed to. He decided the best course of action was to go awol. It's time he grew a pair and got on with it.
  16. The EPL has already been reduced in size since it's inception, perhaps, a further reduction to 16 Clubs will help these prima-donnas. God knows how the so-called highly trained/motivated professionals of today would have coped with 42 League games played on mudheaps with a proper leather ball would have fared. Between the TV Companies and these "worn out" players who are supposedly constantly tired the game of football is being ruined.
  17. If what you say is right why hasn't his agent intervened and "advised" him that it is not in his best interest to stay away? Mahrez is his own worse enemy in all of this and the sooner he realises that and works as per his contract the better.
  18. I really can't see City getting higher than 7th even if they can overhaul Burnley which they should have done with ease last Saturday. Still perhaps 3 points at the Eitihad will help!!
  19. Amazingly these players are all too ready to sign contracts which then become meaningless. Just what is his Agent advising him because he clearly can't think for himself?
  20. He'll a few games to settle in as folk are already saying about the lack of understanding with Vardy & Ihenancho and that takes time. Early days but so far signs look good.
  21. As Puel says this was another 2 points lost. Just like the away game at Chelsea Swansea should have been dead and buried by halftime. We just haven't got that killer instinct to finish games off and it has cost us many points this season. Had these chances been taken we could easily be in 6th spot.
  22. First of all he needs fining, for downing tools and walking off the job. No-one can deny he has acted stupidly and been advised extremely badly. He needs to see the error of his ways get is head down and be transferred in the summer. He has proved to all that he wants away so let's see what happens in the close season.
  23. Well done, Andy King and many thanks for your loyal service. Loyalty means a lot but is rarely seen nowadays. Ambassador, yes good idea but he doesn't appear to be as so outgoing as the 'Birch'.
  24. He still has a lot to prove, consistency for example.
