Offside for the Spuds second goal, cheating bastards!!

Will the 'Nearly Men' come 4th in a 3 horse race?!!
-
If the same team that turned up on Wednesday night that leicester City should win easily.

Is this how everyone felt about us?
David Hankey replied to cityfanlee23's topic in Leicester City Forum
It could easily have been Leicester City playing Dortmund after being in 8th spot for so long. We've had plenty of opportunities to overhaul Burnley and even at one stage The Gooners but we simply haven't been good. -
0-2 (Vardy brace)
-
Would Wagner really want to come here after keeping Huddersfield up, you'd expect and, no doubt, he would want to build on that success. For us to achieve a higher level we need a better manager than him .

Should we get rid of the "old guard"
David Hankey replied to DatfoxesKid23's topic in Leicester City Forum
If Vardy goes where will the goals come from? All those out on loan can go. They haven't figured since January so I see no point whatsoever in keeping any of them plus Simpson, James & Morgan. It's worth keeping Fuchs and Albrighton at present. -
It's high time Jakupovic had a run out and from what I saw last night against one of the top 6 he played extremely well. In fact I would go as far to say he is a better keeper than Hamer who I fear will become another Logan. As for Schmeichel, where is he or is he just saving himself for the World Cup?

I've no problem with Wenger only his berating of match officials when his side doesn't win. He has been a great servant to Arsenal and the Premiership as a whole and I think English football owes him a great deal. It's just a pity that he can't see that some of his players weren't up to it last night. They deserved all they got.

You preach patience but we are dealing with top athletes of their sport. Why can't they hit the ground running just as the newcomers to Leicester Basketball have done?

worst performances at home league
David Hankey replied to Foxaholic ME's topic in Leicester City Forum
I know, as I said earlier on this topic. -
The way the team is playing is "disgraceful". As for the players being "nervous", c'mon we're talking about professional footballers who should rise about any deserved criticism, get their heads done and play with pride and passion and as though they want to be there.
-
You can understand the booing and calls of "you don't know what you're doing". Let's be right we have the worst record in the EPL over the last 5 games. As for the bloke running on to the pitch, there will always be morons. At least his shadow won't be cast over the King Power Stadium again, the fat-head!!

Correct, I knew it was London way somewhere. -
worst performances at home league
David Hankey replied to Foxaholic ME's topic in Leicester City Forum
Allen got the boot after a 4-1 win over Charlton, I think. The fact is there have been many atrocious performances over the years but the home games from February this year have not been brilliant and must appear in the list of worst home games -
Take no notice of Appleton what has he done or achieved in football in the top flight?
-
I wonder who in the Club's recruitment department thought he was ever that good. All we've seen is one or two flashes but nothing better than we already have.Yet more money squandered!!

With the owners giving their backing to the manager and after another woeful performance this afternoon where, seriously, is this Club heading. Given our current run of form, inept displays and obviously an unharmonious dressing room and behind the scenes situation just where are we headed. If we continue in this vain the Championship beckons. Since January our record has been relegation standard and it is only good fortune that we amassed enough points earlier on that we're not joining Stoke City. To my mind it's not just Puel but far too many players are, for whatever reason, not prepared to give their all. There is no guts, no passion, no pride and reminds me of the season we were relegated to League 1. The owners must be mortified by the vast amounts of money they have shelled out to watch this utter drivel.

My objective summary of our squad + manager this season
David Hankey replied to Koke's topic in Leicester City Forum
The most amazing thing I've noticed this season is the amount of "injuries". When we won the title no-one was injured, everyone wanted to play and gave Ranieri a headache most games. This season, today for example 8 out, c'mon I don't buy that for a minute. There is a thorough lack of commitment, passion and an unwillingness to play with a pride in the shirt. Every single player ought to remember where they were before they came to Leicester City and what the Club has done for them. Too many uninspired performances for too long but hey ho keep picking up your big fat wages and think nothing of it. Absolute disgrace!! -
'Lap of Appreciation'!! More like a 'Lack of Appreciation'. No I didn't stop and why did anyone beats me after dishing up another helping of absolute tripe. Professional footballers, we really ought to bring in Trading Standards!!

I'd love Rafa to come here but has this newspaper ever been right on footballing issues?

Not Coleman, thank you, another failure. -

0-8 this season to a team who hadn't scored in their first seven games, about sums our season up. -

And your point is? -
How about Appleton to be permanent boss? A dark horse?
