  1. A loan against future income is a pay day loan, I dont know what you think pay day loan is otherwise? Same with loans secure against player sales, its a pay advance with interest on top. We living above our means and the owner is preferring to do pay day loans over director loans.
  2. As was mentioned in the blue tinted stream, I would like us to grab a lower league striker. We have seen with recent acquisitions its a punt even when you go from a higher league, except the difference is a lower league player is a much cheaper punt. Vardy, look where we got him from, says it all.
  3. He has already had 2 injuries with us, recurring as well, and our number 2 is good enough, I would let him go if a reasonable offer is made, what is reasonable I dont know, but I think 15-20m would be enough to take him.
  4. They just dont know anything else, no communication, pay day loans, just keep on rolling.
  5. He is another barca/man city manager from what I can tell from his interview, so the club is still obsessed with that. However he does speak a good talk and I will give him a chance as I have all previous managers, he says he wants to be an aggressive attacking team, so I am hoping that doesnt mean ping ponging it in front of our keeper and instead playing in the opponents half, will see.
  6. Not quite right. Simple example. Player is 10 million amortised over 5 years. End of year 3, bid comes in for 2 million. If dont sell, is 4 million losses on the book spread over the remaining 2 years. If sell is 2 million losses left on the book. In other words its still a 2 million gain. In laymans terms, dont get obsessed with book value, selling a player is still better than not selling for finances, especially when wages are considered as well. Its a big reason we in the mess we in, we seem to have an obsession of meeting our valuation for players to sell them.
  7. Trying to save King Power. I have been waiting for them to sell for a while, the love that was there for the club is gone now.
  8. Cue the people saying we should be grateful and we are entitled.
  9. Fines, vs embargoes, vs docked points, all over the place.
  10. I remember UEFA first changed it after someone brought it up, and our league then followed.
  11. I dont think PSR was intended to be logical and fair, thats why we have these questions. It is there to keep certain clubs in their place.
  12. Dyche hasnt got us relegated either.
  13. Would you say Pearson is a bad manager because his successor took us from relegation fight to EPL title? Some managers are suited to foundation building, others at pushing onwards. But the latter might need a foundation building manager before them.
  14. He is, I think people have come fantasised with our good run, and also cant let go of Enzo. As a club and that includes the fan base, we need to be grounded, and be realistic. Need a foundations builder so to speak. Lay the foundations before moving on to the next step. If bad players are brought in thats on Rudkin.
  15. I get that he isnt what you want compared to the type of manager you want, but what is wrong with saying something like "not my type of manager, but will give him a chance to prove me wrong". It does feel like we have people who cant let go of Enzo and wont be happy until we employ a clone.
  16. All that talk about backing the manager when it was RVN, it feels like Cooper vibes here. Back him, we need someone like Dyche who will go back to basics.
  17. Lets face it, its bragging rights, the facility hasnt really offered us anything practical as a football club.
  18. It needs an organised intense set of protests at the ground, training ground etc. But I feel as a fan base we dont have that organisation.
  19. Ok, is that a loan still? because I struggle to understand how a loan from KP is converted to shares owned by Top himself. Is it the case they loan the club the money, then Top injects cash to pay of the KP loan and after convert to equity?
  20. When was the last injection from KP on the balance sheet? not one that was years ago but a new one. In its name, not the family name.
  21. They no longer own us, Top owns us personally now.
  22. Ayew funny enough feels like one of the more sensible signings, not explosive fee or wages. I am looking at it now purely on the financial side of it, Winks, Coady wages when they were signed in the EFL e.g. absolutely ludicrous contracts to give out.
  23. Yeah, I am sitting here thinking what is stopping them putting Ruud on gardening leave and setting the new manager start date after the new PSR window? You either go very cheap on the wages or do a short term contract, even if its a rolling 12 month deal.
  24. This gets asked on here a lot, the problem wit these tables they just look at transfer spend, we spend far too much no wages.
  25. Problem is Gary o Neil still an option.
