  1. Also release clauses as we discovered with contracts that didnt haveone, are not the end of the world. Rather sell for a clause amount than get nothing. Its a shitty situation, but if the clause is met, and he wants out, then he is sold. Had we still had our good scouting and analysis system in place, this sort of thing wouldnt be such a big deal.
  2. My first thoughts were no, but contractual situation, we need to start acting like a competant business so accept the offer if 9m is anywhere near close to the truth.
  3. Seen this stuff happen before to companies, incompetant top level directors ruin a company, although in the case of LCFC the company survives albeit limping along because there is at least enough wealth to keep it going by plugging the holes.
  4. Some more photos here, she wasnt at her last club very long, but fresh start for us, and hope works out ok. https://www.gettyimages.co.uk/photos/katie-keane
  5. R-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-ruuuuuuudkin.
  6. Curious, why the hatred? Did he do something to warrant it, or just due to dodgy performances last season. I will never hate a player for making mistakes.
  7. I get your point, but if the fans after a summer off are still holding enough of a grudge to boo him coming on, I would say the bridge is already burnt. I dont get this part of human nature, its a side I dont like, but many will make the mud stick once they have formed an opinion in that direction.
  8. You dont get it? The manager ethos is that it is a fresh start, but it seems our fans dont believe in that, they hold grudges, and so boo our own player coming on in his first game of the season. The manager will probably have a word, but you cant blame him really. If you dont like players acting that way, then clap them on instead of booing.
  9. Good job Messi never joined our club. "he trying to do too much, pass it, pass it" "oh crap he scored, boooooooo"
  10. We need more players holding on to the ball, dribbling etc. Its a much better way to play than passing it around. That late dribble so brilliant, also the one Fatawa did as well which ironically led to our first goal.
  11. Thats what happens when we just stick with Daka as Vardy's alternative for so long. Ayew probably should be first choice up front at the moment.
  12. He got booed when he came on, fans had it coming to be fair. I would also imagine squad supported Justin when he was picked on last season.
  13. Wow that is crazy, is he the new scapegoat this season even when he doesnt do anything wrong? I did wonder how people would react when consider Ayew and Faes had a reasonable game. Two not fancied players. I think I heard boos when Faes came on.
  14. Selling for 18m is better than not selling him and he sees out contract. Sad many cant see that. We have caused ourselves so many issues refusing to accept bids for players over the years.
  15. For a short period Ayew was like Messi, might be our Dickov this season.
  16. We dont understand the concept of quality possession, we just understand quantity of possession.
  17. I just want rid of pass, pass, pass, back, back, back even if we finish 10th. We would only be back down playing that way anyway.
  18. All the talk of intensity, but so far its just more of the usual pass back, back, back, possession before attacking. Hoping not another Enzo snooze fest season. Fans right to boo in my opinion.
  19. I see some people whinging about the fee, 20m is a reasonable offer for a injury prone championship keeper.
  20. Some reporters approached him for an interview, so military was called in to fend them off.
  21. These kind of calculations are misleading. It still remains a loss making transfer in terms of the fee, but ultimately its a gain from where we were. So instead of 2.5million for this year and the wages on top, its now down to 500k for this year, and no wages, so thats a PSR gain from where we were. In effect its a circa 6 million profit, from the baseline of where we were before the deal.
  22. Excellent news, apparently a 6 million gain for the books? But it goes to nothing if we just sign another 75k a week player.
  23. Its more fun to watch than the EPL.
  24. No need to worry if it falls through, Qbet is waiting in the wings.
  25. Thought I would post this poll, a 2 week poll. This is separate from King power, and Rudkin discussions, I am just curious on the popularity of where we should be on squad spending. My own opinion is I prefer us to focus on getting spend down as a priority, even if we are less competitive as a result. It is locked to poll only as we already have a lot of discussions on this sort of topic.
