At his peak, it was his offensive play I remembered him for.

Could we go into Administration next season?
Chrysalis replied to Lineker's Left Foot's topic in Leicester City Forum
Investment has been halted for a while, king power is in managed crisis mode, day to day is funded by pay day loans. Yet people still think he is flush with cash and willing to put it in. -
We did the worst possible, I feel its best to either ignore PSR, and take the punishment, the breach would allow the team to be good enough that a few points is less than the extra quality in team. Or you manage finances properly, and comfortably fall within the rules. We were stuck in the middle, indecisiveness. I dont see the point in breaching, but trying to mitigate it to a smaller breach, a breach is a breach, and we didnt get any brownie points as we threw our toys out of the pram on cooperation.

Plan for next season. Keep as much as the squad as possible, especially Winks on a new contract. Winks gets to pick the manager, has to be kept happy. 50m budget for team, macquire loan fund day to day. Play out from the back, it will work at some point. Try to get more ex man city staff. Work on Enzo until last week of transfer window, then go to fall back plan. Sell Fatawa for 6 million. Macquire loan to get it all in one go, 11.6 million repayable. 2 new flagship 30+ year old EPL signings. Daka to remain as only striker. 3 year extension for both Ricardo and Vestergaard. Thai Bet new sponsor.

What do people mean by quality? Teams like Burnley, Southampton, and ourselves two seasons ago will just come back down. The teams that stay up better are those who go up unexpectedly, and those that play more direct pressing football. Playing touch ball isnt quality.

Not only already posted, but I think this is the 3rd or 4th thread I seen. -
If only the problem was just the manager.

Macquarie Loan for Parachute Payments Rolled Over
Chrysalis replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
The recent Keiran tweet suggests its been cashed out, so the question for me at this point is how much of that cash is left in LCFC bank account. -
I find champions league games boring, I think the quality peaks at championship level.

Yep, the problem with the idea, that we have to talk on his wavelength to get him to communicate, is then the issues never get tackled, what next? Do these people get invited to meeting with senior management, and then proceed to talk about things are not related to the core problems, because of the fear if they talk about what needs to be talked about they will just get off. Thats no better than being cut off.

Relegation, League 1, financial implications

Then within a few years their players develop the same issues, lack of fitness, poor mentality, thinking they made the big time etc. -

I think I may have misinterpreted his post actually, II read it quickly as we only have 2m unspent, but its actually we just have 2m EFL tv money to come and we cashed it out, it is possible some of that cash is still in the bank. I will speculate most of it isnt though, I guess we find out in April. -

I think its salvageable if its streamlined yeah, get rid of at least half of the pitches and the golf course, and it starts to look a bit more sensible. -

Another football club wont buy it, its not that much of a footballing asset. Best bet is finding a property developer or lobby to get HS2 routed through it for a jackpot pay day. -

Well looks like the question over the Macquire loan is settled. Only 2 million of next season parachute payments havent been spent. So as some of us expected, credit card maxed out on the leverage. -
Its clear the sport is corrupt, in other sports which have financial regulations, they not based on past success or revenue, its a flat equal spend for each competitor, the fact its based on revenue shows the sport is broken on that alone.

If Top *did* sell - who do you think might buy the club?
Chrysalis replied to Stadt's topic in Leicester City Forum
For what reason other than land value? The problem with Seagrave, it actually makes harder club to sell if its included, as it raises the value of the club. Most sane people wont see it as a footballing asset. -

They just should do a one big hit on the upcoming year accounts, clear it all in one year. Aggressive reduction of salaries and player sales, if not achieved due to no taker sor players refusing, pay the contracts off and just get them out the club. Recruit players from that point forward on proper affordable wage structure, with high earners out of club it gets rid of discontent with wage inequality. A big PSR hit in one year imo is less point deduction than smaller ones in consecutive years. Also less bad PR. -

Just cashed out my winnings, thanks Top. -
Why did he concentrate on players not giving a toss when the far bigger issue is Top himself and Rudkin? The approach taken was that its fixable if Top changes approach, when instead the guy should be asking/ (a) recruitment strategy (b) consistent final breaches (c) when is he selling the club, its not working (d) how long before rudkin contract is terminated, and if not, which areas of the job does top think he has performed well, specific metrics not "hes done well".

Where is the video? dont see a link in the thread.

Interesting post from a Leeds fan, which I agree with, its the opposite of how Top wants the team built. Prioritise big players. Avoid too many technical players. Fitness and mobility priority for training. Strong players. Get used to lumping it up front instead of playing out of the back.
