They have liabilities as well, if their salary is higher than their book value, they a net liability.

I expect Rudkin will be on holiday through to end of June, manager will be appointed deliberately late to avoid squad rebuild, and most of transfer business will be in last 72 hours.
-
For me I think it has gone too far, and I expect the replacement would be from Manchester City.
-
It was years back, sorry it took until this season for you to notice.
-
Probably yes, if a change was felt needed, wait till end of season unless we was heading for relegation, his results were however good enough to avoid the drop. So should have been kept on. Same mistake as we made with Cooper, the Owner over estimating the squad ability thinking we under achieving and then after a managerial change everything nose dived. Ultimately though, no manager is going to thrive here until we have a change of leadership at the club.

Relegation, League 1, financial implications
Chrysalis replied to splinterdream's topic in Leicester City Forum
Bookies close to paying out early? My payout offer is almost the full winnings. -
He should have been kept to end of season, Top made the same mistake 2 seasons in a row.
-
Yet the KPFC mob had enough about them to physically threaten people holding a KP out banner?
-
We have one all out striker, which shows horrific squad management, a reliable goal scorer makes a massive difference, more so than any defender or midfielder. Go back to 4-4-2 and either bring in 3 strikers, whilst keeping Daka, or sell Daka and bring in 4.
-
Pretty sure they were in League one, when we was in League one.
-
They have been decent, as has a big portion of the league, we are by far the most shit team I have watched this season. Even oxford play better than us. I think the championship is better football than the EPL being honest. Much more direct, I like it.
-
Why is this coming up so late, totally bizarre. Are the EFL only capable of charging one club at a time?
-
I wouldnt put it past Rudkin to renew some of those expiring contracts, he is incapable of squad rebuilds.
-
I think a line was crossed, but also if Winks i not approaching fans at end of game, pre game etc. he is inviting this type of behaviour. Also what is he doing taking his daughter in to a toxic environment.
-
This is what happens when players that want to move on, are kept because the DoF isnt capable of moving players on, and also when the ethos at the club doesnt want them to make them stay here.
-
It will, its just a question of low long before KP sell up. They wont stay forever, I see the shrine mentioned a lot, but at some point they will cave and give up. League one will mean they no longer a promotion away from the EPL, which might be enough.

From what I understand both Sousa and Sven appointments done to appease Top. Sousa in particular if anyone can remember as well as me, we were attempting tippy tappy with the squad KP inherited, a complete and utter disaster locked us bottom of the table after 10 games. Pearson coming back Mandaric suggestion and is when Vichai started to make his son step back and the team for a few years was allowed to play proper more direct football again. The Pearson sports science stuff was already 80-90% torn down by the time Rodgers was here, but the rest of it went by the time Rodgers was gone, and we abandoned previous policy of selling first team players. However I think that policy was also doomed to failure, as you cant progress as a club constantly selling your best players every season. We eventually got to where we are today, with an insistence on specific way of playing ( I think some dont realise how big of a deal this is, its really screwed us on the pitch), an attitude of that we better than what we are hence the unsuitable training ground, and constant over spending on wages, acquiring EPL players instead of lower league etc,. An example I can give is that we now concede a lot of goals 90% because of training methods and style of play, 10% personnel, but the regime and defenders of the style blame the personnel instead which has led to a unusually high turnover of defenders, and left the attacking part of the squad unmanaged, which in turn is why we ended up in a predicament of only one proper striker at a club who isnt fit for the task, we used to routinely have 4 strikers at the club. We didnt improve when Faes left, didnt improve when Justin left, because the issue is the style of play and training methods. Thankfully we still have the old training ground, so a fix that side is still possible with a new owner selling Seagrave, then it will be about bringing back a proper wage structure, proper ethos at the club, stat based recruitment, lower league recruitment, and stopping the obsession with trying to play like Barca/Man city.

Dont care until Top is gone.
-
Whats the point of this fan advisory board, if they can only report a vague summary? What is this detailed insight? Why didnt the fan advisory board ask about improving results in the board room?
-
Sadly his hands are tied on the direct football, Top simply wont allow it. If he tries it, he will be fired within a few games.
-
These are Rudkin issues as some of us have tried to explain.
-
Yep, I remember when KDH wasnt available, team looked torrid, Enzo got the best out players like Winks, Vesty and Ricardo, but he wouldnt have kept us up in the EPL, and we wouldnt be chasing promotion this season. If anything he would have resigned, as we know he wasnt happy with Rudkin even when we was winning a lot. I wish people started looking above the manager, thats where the problems are, they need fixing before the manager can be fixed.
