Jamaal Lascelles joins on deal until end of season - Official
Chrysalis replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I am not surprised how its turning out, at least its only a this season deal. -
We used to have 4 strikers, that does look really unbalanced, at minimum swap a keeper for a striker.
-
Careful, I dared suggesting the Manager doesnt have managerial freedom and was laughed at.
-
Does that fix the style of play and needing a million chances to score? We cant keep blaming defenders for the style of play problems and inbalanced squad built by the DoF.
-
We still have a bunch of people blaming the manager and players. KPFC culture is too strong.
-
We wouldnt have needed to, after 3 goals they probably give up.
-
Call it what you want, but the vision is wrong. Its a style of play imposed on managers. We could hire a lump it up the pitch conference manager and within 3 games we will be playing possession. If you was right we would surely by now have a manager playing a different way.
-
They will be. When was the last time we did anything resembling a squad overhaul. Rudkin cant clear players out, and without that we cant bring new ones in.
-
We had enough of the ball to score enough goals that conceding 2-3 shouldnt have mattered. The way we play puts more pressure on the defense. So much wasted time on the ball with tippy tappy nonsense trying to pass it into the net.
-
Absolutely are, we have had multiple managers even say it, Enzo who is respected on here came out that Top directly told him how to play.
-
They keep over estimating the squad's capability (presumably because they massively over spent on it and somehow think seagrave is improving players) and enforcing a style of play, this leads to them sacking managers mid season without succession planning and then we worse after the change. The financial situation is going to blow up at some point.
-
I posted my opinion before Marti was sacked, a manager change wouldnt achieve much as the problem wasnt the manager. Someone is dictating our managers how to play, we have had 3 managers now who are not normally complex passing managers, smith, cooper and gary revert to that style of football. Probably Rudkin enforcing it on behalf of Top. Like the cooper sacking form much worse after the sacking, one done without any succession planning. Its like me and some others have said Top and Rudkin out.
-
Please dont tell me we were singing we staying up at 1-0 up as well?
-
I thought Gary had simplified our play? I read that after last game, I am watching it now, and we trying way over complicated things, Daka had ball with space in box, and he passed it instead of shooting. Its like we trying to do 6 passes for what other teams do in 1.
-
Well yeah, we got no energy, passing instead of running is less energy, its a lazy way to play the game.
-
Its the style of play as always, we had 5-6 touches in their box with no one daring to shoot, has to be passed in.
-
My analysis, turned it on 10 mins ago. Us - trying to pass it into the net, passing at low pace, between defenders, usual nonsense. QPR very high quality compared to ourselves, get forward quickly BOOM goal. Why cant we play like that? This league is so good quality compared to us its crazy. I started typing this whilst it was still 1-2 as well, but heard commentator shout after they got a corner, then was 1-3.
-
Well remember its the owners who vote on the rules that are brought in. It explains why this rule would be in place, they protecting themselves.
-
This is an excellent suggestion basically is a way of implementing what I said above in a organised way.
-
The rule should be the opposite of what they doing, if the owner has currently breached financial regulations and/or not paid bills, then the rule should actually be they forfeit proceeds on a sale, instead of protecting their asset value personally. Forbid things like owner affiliated advertising as well, instead of just stacking up point deductions, hurt the owner not the club.

I agree, but wait till we actually are staying up before singing. -
One of them is invisible off the ball. Which Rowett considers to be our main weakness.

Interesting looks like we played much more direct based on that, if true I might watch the next game. I liked the keeper throwing it forward for a straight attack after the penalty as well.
