The idea we will sell fatawa and el kanouss, then not extend any of the high earners and on top of that rely on youth plus freebies wont happen, its simply too sensible. Instead we will not give two ***** breach again, and when done for it will make another statement the penalty is too harsh, we done nothing wrong etc.

Realistic Managerial Replacements
Chrysalis replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
Argument with Rooney over contract length. Rooney has agreed to the requirement, there must be 100 passes before the ball leaves our third, and then another 200 before a shot on goal. -
Top may have stated he isnt selling. He told the BBC Marti needed time and then sacked him 6 hours later.
-
Its probably in the owners interest for this team to get relegated given the financial woes.
-
Mentioned in both of those very good videos now, the atmosphere and costs completely inappropriate for non elite players. What we have learnt the hard way is the coaching personnel and squad building is far more important, I feel Vichai built this after the struggle to keep Mahrez thinking it would stop those type of problems in the future.

Realistic Managerial Replacements

Its obvious at this point like previous sackings its another on the spot sacking of emotion without planning ahead. If Marti was to be sacked the new guy should be in place within a few days. -
How Much Does Seagrave Cost Per Year
Chrysalis replied to Long Eaton Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Its an illusion that seagrave improves sporting performance of the players, there is no evidence to support it. Its just a more comfortable training environment and marquee for the club. -
How Much Does Seagrave Cost Per Year
Chrysalis replied to Long Eaton Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
It really needs to be the other way round, but some here have sadly fell to the allure of owning a training ground described as a 5 star hotel, as a sauna and has excessive training pitches whilst being a league one or lower championship club. I would be very surprised if a miracle happened and a shrewd person became a new owner, that one of the first actions would not be to either significantly downsize or sell seagrave. League one is about to introduce very strict 50% spending regulations which include sporting infrastructure running costs as well. -
Thanks I think the points made were very reasonable, especially about Seagrave, lack of CEO and contracts.

Look at the hunger in this thread for a new manager, if only the fan base had the same hunger for a new owner and DoF. -

Wow. 3-0 up to 4-3 loss. I am guessing first half from the loyalists "There is only one king power" "Top till I die". -

Waiting for Rooney announcement. -
Ban for life for any fan that tries to sneak that in to the ground.

Try tripling that number in bold. Thats not peak either, probably average taking into account the lower wage bill at start of reign and since relegation. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5386064/2024/04/02/leicester-accounts-explained-psr-charge/

Sorry, your head is in the sand. We were budgeting with no head room, had a horrid salary to revenue level, managed the situation very badly, and then ended up breaching the limits in following seasons as well whilst still giving out generous contracts, we also still continue to turn down offers for players in favour of them running down their contracts. We have no CEO, Sporting Director and Manager all at once, we have just made a statement which has no recognition we have ****** up. Failed to expand the stadium when the time was ripe, you are just looking at the player and managerial side of it, there is a lot more to running a football club than games.

Can anyone remember if a club has ever had these roles vacant all at once? Sporting director Manager CEO

For me to summarise Rudkin. Only good at selling our best players (which apparently Whelan took over), cannot manage player turnaround on squad players, over paying on salaries, misbalanced squads, and now due to no proper scouting system over reliant on getting 30+ year old past their best ex EPL players. When was the last time we brought in at least half a dozen players in a window, and especially not at the final day or two of window, selling of reserve players etc.
-
To me its poor squad management. Sold JJ without replacing him, who was given very harsh treatment by people on here but doing fine now with Leeds, at the very least he should have been replaced. Constant selling of other first teamers without adequately planning ahead on their replacements. This leaves us reliant on players who are either not good enough to begin with or who are past their best, Ricardo was brilliant at his peak, but nothing lasts forever, and I noticed his issues when we was in the EPL. The best way to play him is probably where Enzo had him as old legs is not so important there. But that option isnt there now as there is no one to cover his position.

Where is the big boss, did he attend the game? -
Disgraceful, the doncaster stuff, the man utd not having to work their way up the leagues, this seeding, we seeing the true "wants" come out in the womens game, they think having titan showdown matches is more important than sporting fairness.
-
Seems more like deniability at the moment.
-
My thoughts also, they just refuse to accept they have done wrong.
-
This seems to suggest the self imposed transfer embargo in that fateful season didnt achieve much, and the bigger impact on a penalty is the lack of cooperation in investigations. Attempted mitigation by doing this like selling KDH was only worth a 1 point mitigation?
-
Why is the club trying to drag this out instead of moving on?
