So I guess this is the stat thread to use, as the other one is getting the blind eye, I will post my future last 6 PPG tables here then.

They had 4-5 key players out for QPR game told to me by an ipswich fan, a bug going round and injury to hirst, they played norwich, us and leeds in their last 6. Unlike Leeds there is a clear reasoning for their dip and every reason to believe its temporary but will see, either way mckenna has done an astounding job there. They might not make second, but I think they will be top 3 come end of season.

Overall I dont have much complaints about the overall play in the last 2 games, we have just carried on with enzo ball 2.0, less counters but thats because less opportunities for it, although still the more direct play so still 2.0. The main issue for me was the subs in the ipswich game and coady starting over jj or hamza. Whilst ipswich took control late on in that game, it was perhaps the first time in the season I couldnt see an obvious reason why, it was for me just one of those games. As said by jayfox if it was clicking 100% in the final 3rd we now are having enough chances we would be scoring 4+ a game. I am guessing now thats probably what enzo is working on, as with 2.0 we are now getting good chances every game. Also Lillehamring the reason Ndidi is getting picked is simple, he is more effective than the alternatives which probably is either Casedei or Yunus. His movement is sound and does help with the forward play, think back to the Sheff Wed game when he didnt play.

Seems to be looking for negatives, lets put it this way, if he was on the pitch against ipswich doing what he did in this game I think we wouldnt have conceded. All those rescues easily outweigh the odd loose ball. His loose balls are also usually not in dangerous area, e.g. when mads passes it to someone running at our goal, thats what I call a problem. However I think this is his best game for us this season, so we need consistency at that level. I also can only recall 1 loose pass in my head from him that I noticed in the game towards the end. Dont want to be in the Rodgers mindset where losing the ball is considered to be the biggest sin, I so hated that mentality, it got so bad it had clearly got in the players heads (as well as a some fans). Thankfully Enzo doesnt seem to have the same obsession, he wants control of games, but I dont think he is panicking over the odd misplaced pass. Enzo ball 2.0 which we now play is also more risky.

He will, he's came close to a few goals, so it will come.

Ok will do another last 6 PPG added to current totals, finally sky updated their table (use it as source since they do last 6). Leeds are lucky I kept them on this, they need to sort themselves out to be considered contenders moving forward. Of course Ipswich on horrific run of fixtures. Leicester 118 (PPG 2.67) Southampton 100 (PPG 2.33) Ipswich 85-86 (PPG 1.5) Leeds 69 (PPG 1.16) 87 required for autos.

He will get more time during AFCON. I can understand Enzo not wanting to take Daka off too early. Ideally he needs to be on with KDH, Ndidi, Fatawa and Mavididi all on the pitch for the best chance to shine. -

Missed that post, thanks for quoting it. So thats why JJ is getting dropped now and again, I will take it instead of him losing long stretches injured. Same with ricardo. -
I also wonder if someone isnt good enough to make the bench, the club reports they injured to save them face.

Great goal from justin for a possession goal, enzo be happy. Hamza continuing to have a great game.
-
Hamza having quite a good game, he has won it back loads when we lost it.
-
Hopefully we keep going, not sitting on 1-0.
-
The way we pressed to win that back for the goal was exquisite.
-
Yeah the sub decisions were baffling.

Ipswich (A) 1 - 1 - Boxing Day - Post-Match Thread

Tactical issues and strange subs from Enzo. Ultimately though we still got a point away to the second team in the league, I would have taken a point before the game. -
2nd half was poor before the subs, but they made it even worse with the subs. A learning experience for Enzo, lets hope he learns from it, taking of your attacking outlet fails more than it works in narrow leads. The failure was not killing Ipswich by HT, as we know they finish games strongly. Mads passing it out lost the ball more than 10 times in a danger area, and a few of those were close to goal scoring chances.
-
Mads keeps gifting ball, boot it or roll it out.
