I've read the book. I hope the dramatisation is as good. The imagination in reading usually surpasses what you visually see.

Is it any wonder BN was smiling and his statement that America (aka Trump) was the greatest ally Israel has ever had. The plan probably will never reach reality. But it clearly is BN's dream come true if it did. Get rid of Palestine/Gaza via Trump and BN has no case to answer. Win win for him. But, Trump being Trump, there has to be something in it for him. The question is, what.

Gone but not forgotten and certainly not the death list

Beautiful, flawed and exploited. And ultimately failed by those around her who should have taken better care of her but didn't because they only wanted her as a token for their own gain. Mick Jagger, I'm looking at you among others. -
Idiotic post. So if she was an unappealing dogface she'd definitely be guilty? Are you Trump?

I had a small radio that I used to put under my pillow to listen to this new fangled music station. I had to avoid tuning into the fishing forecast. Fastnet, Dogger, Viking. Rockall, etc. Then occasionally you'd get some weird morse code bleeps going on. I used to imagine I was spying on some Russian fleet sending coded messages to their military.

I remember being the one who had to stick reams of the things in the book. A full book got you about £2 in value to spend at a participating outlet. You had to spend sixpence (2 1/2p) to get one stamp.

I was thinking this same thought. Knackered, out of new ideas, other teams working harder. He might see this season out but where will he go next? What more does he have to prove? Maybe go somewhere he hasn't been, Italy, Portugal, France and their top sides? If he goes, it'll need to be a team that has genuine Champions League potential or current CL success. I don't include Celtic in that BTW.

Yes, you are correct and I retract my comment. It was @Ian Nacho My point re: chip on shoulder still stands, though.

I think many people go just so they can say "I've been to Auschwitz". They kind of understand and get the history and the significance but still feel the urge to boast about having been there. It's grim and sad and emotional but not something most right thinking, knowledgeable would brag about on FB with accompanying photos. Go, and be moved and humbled. I was.

Why does that make them a "small time club". Sounds like you're the one with the chip on your shoulder. (I'm not an Arsenal supporter, just a realist)

I really don't like Trossard.

If there is something afoot, it won't be today. If/when it happens, it'll be in our own boardroom/chairman's office.

Everton 4-0 LCFC, post match thread

It's a bit like having a wet dream about something/one but then you're disgusted when you wake up in the wet patch of your own semen. -
Don't look back in anger.

Any world "leading" politician that can come out with this sort of diabolical, stupid and ignorant statement needs to realise how this reflects on them as a leader, politician and simply as a human being. Unfortunately for the world, Trump is none of these things. He's an ignorant, but very wealthy, knobhead that thinks he can do as he likes without consequences. The only thing he wants is power at any cost. And that's the scary thing.
-
Easily making himself the laughing stock of political world. The problem is he has power on his side. I'm sure that, some way back, his ancestors were simple minded, in-bred rednecks because that's how he comes across to me.

Wow, I never knew tarmac was so expensive. No wonder our roads are shite.

My childhood home had a pantry. I still remember the fridge being installed in there when I was young and the fitter had to put a gas pipe in to connect it as it was gas powered.

We had one of these complete with a mangle attached: And a separate one of these: The mangle was a piece of genius before spin dryers arrived. The amount of water that they could squeeze out was unbelievable and probably better than modern spin drying machines

We don't but my "nan" (foster carer) lived in a cottage a small village where I spent the first 5 years of my life and used to go back to regularly. She had a larder which housed a large slate or ceramic "cold shelf" where butter and dairy products, tins of condensed milk, tins of fruit, and such like would be stored and it also had a meat safe, which was a wooden box with a mesh door to the keep cool air circulating but the flies out.
