Our slow slow slow play in attack...
Vlad the Fox replied to Collymore's topic in Leicester City Forum
I swear there was one point today where Ayew dropped deep to receive the ball and no one ran beyond him meaning that our whole team was squeezed into a 20 yard channel across the pitch 10 yards either side of the half way line. Also we get destroyed on the transition time and again. We lose the ball and the opposition get the ball into their forwards attacking our back line so quick often playing through our midfield in one pass. -
Interim Managing Director Appointed

She’ll come in and wonder why a small shop needs such a big premises. They’ll be space rented out down the KP to Screwfix, wicks and a local mechanic by the end of the month. -
What was the fans groups statement? I’ve only seen the club one.

How about a boat on the river, anchor it well before, during and until everyone has gone home. Every time some looks out the main stand windows it’ll be there, directors arriving and leaving will see it.

Leicester City vs Stoke (H) 22nd Nov 3pm - Pre match
Vlad the Fox replied to whoareyaaa's topic in Leicester City Forum
**** me, a Saturday, home 3pm. Never thought I’d see the day. -
People need to stop obsessing over those who still support the ownership and carry on making their voices heard. As seen on here and heard in the ground more and more are turning against the ownership, it’s a process and you have to let people go through it instead of name calling and creating a divide, an us and them mentality. Also comparing us to other clubs is pointless, none of them have had the success we have had over recent years so you have to expect it will take some people more time to turn on an ownership that has delivered success many could only dream of, it’s why some only turn on rudkin (part of the process) while others will defend the owners to the end.
-
One positive is that when this place is as negative as it is now over a line up, we often go on to win. 🤞
-
Ownership and rudkin need to go before another manager fails due to their incompetence.

A definitive answer to the raging debate. Let us know what he puts

I’m sure I’ve heard him say in an interview years later that he wished he never said it as he had done himself an injustice.

Thanks, fingers crossed it’ll be on in a pub somewhere then.

Is that skys version of the red button?

****ing what??? We’ve chose this kick off time? What about sat lunch? I’m away so this was my evening entertainment, just assumed it was on sky

True, but still a great chant that should be resurrected. I sang it at the in-laws wedding, absolutely murdered it but still had a couple of drunk old deers dancing along

Yes, love those were the days, can never understand why such a catchy tune as never really caught on nowadays.

Didn’t realise Abdul is English -
Yes, I think that was always the plan but circumstances meant it had to be gradual. It’s obvious to all us, it would be to him.

I personally think he’s been doing a superb job and see a clear line in progression of the squad. He came in late in pre-season and had to oversea a demoralised squad through a turbulent pre season, keeping players (who we’d need) who wanted out on the periphery so he could bring them back in once the window shut. Plus regarding the picking of Skip and Soumare, I think it’s clear from early on that he didn’t see them as the midfield pairing he wants due to the signings he made in JJ and Ramsey. Game by game the performances have been getting better, we’re seeing more fight and desire than we’ve seen in a while and the squad seem to be behind him. He came in to steer a rocking boat and is gradually guiding it into calmer waters. I’m confident that when he leaves we will be in a far better position as a club then when he arrived

Tony Cottee on “sacked in the morning” currently on bbc two. Love listening to old footballers talking of their time playing, especially from his era and before (so many more characters than now). Talks about his time with us on about 25 minutes. He was great for us.
