Or maybe if we put an offer in celtic will try and have our pants down and demand 30m. They may accept a much lesser offer from atalanta, once they’ve accepted that offer we can swoop in offering a similar fee saving ourselves millions

Thanks for the very best of memories Shakey, you gained immortality in Leicester for what you helped to create here.

Bit of oil, tighten a few springs, brakes will do, don’t plan on using them, Be good to go in next to no time.

More like his agent didn’t want him to go to a club that wouldn’t pay him the biggest fee. If he didn’t want to listen to the proposal how does he know we’ve not got one? Isn’t survival the the first and most important thing, grow from there. The club have a lot to answer for but I can’t be arsed getting angry over someone who had no interest in coming in the first place and no guarantee he’d have been any good for the large amount he’d have cost and is probably spouting bullshit anyway.

Season card fee charitable donation

Mine has gone to Loros. So sorry to hear they're struggling as they were great help and source of comfort for my mum during her last days and months. I even ran the London marathon 4 times raising money for them a few years bask. -

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

16 points If it was I’d send the players out in clown costumes and fancy dress every match and make a complete mockery of the whole thing. -
Since they put security on the gates I have to queue every match, cup games are much worse.

Have two accounts you can get yourself to do it for you, saving you having to do it yourself. -

So what you’re saying is we need to chuck in a couple of long hauls to Australia and back. -

Wasn’t someone rumbled on here a few years back having a conversation with themselves after they forgot to switch accounts half way through it -
Glad we didn't succumb then. Agents are a scourge on the game. I was listening to Kevin Davies on a podcast the other day saying how an agent was trying to force him into a deadline day move when he didn't want to go and was hanging around outside the training ground even after he'd told him to do one. He said the agent was desperate to get his fee and a lot push hard for moves just to get these big fees.

One thing I’ve learnt this pre-season is that frog wanking is a thing.
-
I think it is, it’s all about keeping possession and eliminating risk. It’s almost like the opposite end of the spectrum to the likes of basset and beck, play to the percentages. It feels like the over analysis of stats stifles flair and individual creativity.

Maybe he played him right back because he doesn’t feature in his plans, maybe he does, whatever, he still needs to get him fit so players need minutes in their legs even if they may be leaving. There’s no point looking too much into it or getting irate, wait until the season starts and then we can make judgments, getting angry will just spoil your summer. The winters for being miserable
-
I hope he does well too, I think he’s got the right personality for the type of manager we usually love so hopefully he succeeds. We’ve all seen pre seasons where we smash everyone then flop and pre seasons where we’ve looked poor then sailed to promotion or do well, what was the pre-season like before we won the prem? It all comes down to what the management team are working on or looking at.
-
It’s pre season, there’s so much going off, trying different things, different positions, fitness, formations and scenarios that it’s pretty pointless trying to read too much into it until maybe the last game. It’s just an excuse to watch some footy in the sun. I can remember one pre season match a few seasons back that people were moaning about the players not looking fit and it turned out we’d had a full training session in the morning.

I reckon we put our bid on the table and left it there a couple of weeks back which is why nothing new was reported for over a week until roma decided to get close to it.

Looks like a nice evening in Sicily.

In-bowl experience? Yeah, sometimes I feel like a spider in the bath tub.

Concerns about the direction of the club
Vlad the Fox replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
It was a pre season friendly, stick a veo camera up and live stream, most people would have been happy with that. Regarding the cost of a Veo camera, the club already has at least one. I’m sure Shrewsbury do too. -
Thanks, it feels like it’s something else they want out the way. They'll redesign the stadium with memory to Vichai but will neglect or push to the side the memories of those that supported the team long before they arrived who when buying those bricks were led to believe that they would be a permanent part of a structure that would stand for decades and more. My kids never met my mum but it’s something I can take them to, gives them a connection to her.
-
Wouldn’t it be best for them to remain on the outside of the stadium? I don’t sit in the part of the stadium where my mums brick is (she passed away 20 years ago), I’ll often walk round the stadium to see the brick give it a touch and a “come on City”. If it’s inside I won’t be able to do that or see it, I can’t be the only one, in fact I would suspect the majority of the brick owners and families are the same. In fact if it’s inside it’ll become a forgotten feature, at the moment it’s outside proud and very noticeable
