Fvck off. Fvck right off. 9 - 3? You're taking the piss. Just finished my PGCE last week (so I guess I'm a qualified teacher now). My last 8 week placement, I was working at the MINIMUM an 80 hour week. In school 7 - 5 every day (occasionally I was lucky enough to leave at 4.45), working at least 3 hours each evening and at least 10 hours each day on the weekend. It was honestly hell, the worst 8 weeks of my life. Yeah, you get "holidays", but only in the same way that you'd say someone who is self-employed is on holiday all the time. My friend just finished his teaching degree at the same time as me, and now has no intentions of going into teaching, because it's a ridiculously stressful and under appreciated career, with a crappy workload. I still haven't made up my mind whether I will carry on to do it myself, this year has been so bad. My girlfriend just finished her first year of teaching, and probably works a 70 hour week. Makes me genuinely angry when people start spouting this bollocks, when they have no clue what they are talking about whatsoever. There's a reason teaching has such a high drop out rate, and it's not because it's such a easy and relaxed job. I'm so predictable - I always bite when people make comments like this.

You know what, bias aside, I honestly feel that Pearson gives some of the best interviews. He tells it as it is and doesn't over-react; he doesn't get too hyped up over a win, and he doesn't whine when he loses. He's blunt and honest, which I find quite refreshing. I'd be embarrassed with a lot of managers, having to listen to their pathetic excuses after a defeat.

It's not as difficult as I first though. The reason I struggled so much is I joined the first covenant I found. Turns out it made all the enemies as difficult as if you were playing NG+ That being said, it's still fairly difficult, though I'm finding the boss fights so far a lot easier. Edit: I take it back. This boss fight is brutal. Spent hours on it, still nowhere near.

Ornstein and Smough are probably the hardest boss in the game, unless you have the DLC. Strangely I actually managed to kill them on my first go too (Ibeing a wizard really helped, I just kept running away and casting magic), but on my second account it must have taken me hours to do it. Unless you fight him at the start of the game, Pinwheel is a bit of a joke boss, I normally 2 hit him by that point. Nito is either easy or insanely difficult, depending on whether you can kill those bloody skeletons. Dark Souls is possibly the best game I've ever played - certainly the best of this generation at any rate. At least half way through the second one now, which is also a great game. Spent far longer on it then I should have these past few days.

Started Dark Souls 2 today. Im good at the first game, but **** me is this one difficult. I had to restart already. Ah, you summoned the Iron Tarkus NPC? He's great - he can pretty much kill the boss just by himself. And yeah, it's difficult to kill the boss without killing the giant first. What's even worse if you try kill the Gaping Dragon in the depths without killing the wizard guy, he casts a spell on it that makes it do about double damage .

My first run probably took me about 70 hours to be fair! I've played through it a lot of times though, and once you know exactly what you're doing, it's a lot easier. Have Dark Souls 2 pre-ordered. Gonna try it without any walkththrough/wiki's, but I imagine I will cave eventually, after getting lost for hours.

Been doing a speed run of Darksouls recently, to see how fast I can complete it. Best time is only 5 hours 57 minutes so far.

Just finished the first three seasons. Weirdly, I think I may actually enjoy this more than Breaking Bad. BB probably has better writers, but I do love a good zombie programme.

Latest episode is awesome. Good cliffhanger ending. Nice to see Jesse in it a bit more too.
