  1. Why don't people rate him? Honestly? He is literally the definition of proven Premier League goalscorer. Of course the amount is mental but football has gone mental but based on goals scored it is impossible not to class him as one of the best in the league, and he's never even played for a great team?
  2. Definitely a Ranieri signing. X
  3. Massively in to Phil Spector and could have posted any number of his but went for this instead as pretty much as good, if not better, than all of his. One of my favourite pop songs ever. X
  4. This breaks my heart by the way.
  5. "There were a number of clubs interested, but when I met the manager here, he pretty much swayed it into the direction of this club. "Leicester are on the up and it looks very promising for the future." But but but, Shakespeare is an unknown and no one will want to play for him! Welcome Harry, I would gladly be your little spoon. X
  6. You understand jokes right?
  7. Totally agree, which was why I wanted to offer the alternative to the guy citing Amartey as a negative. I think, as long as we stay up, we will be OK next season. Lots of young players and players that still need time to settle. We are Ok. X
  8. Och it's a tough one. I think we should probably rotate him for now between CB and DM (like last night when we need to shore up a bit). I was more disagreeing with the "didn't tackle enough" bit of the other poster when, statistically, he made more tackles per minute than anyone else (apart from maybe Ndidi). Calling him "our only negative" because he didn;t tackle enough is just factually incorrect. Sometimes people see what they want to I think and I think the guy gets more criticism than he deserves. Very useful player to have in my opinion and still young. Hopefully he keeps being involved. X
  9. Not sure I agree with this. Amartey made 3 tackles in the short time he was on. Only two players made more tackles than him in the whole game (and they each had 90 minutes). I like Amartey, he's doing alright. X
  10. Thanks Darkon and an intersting point. Oh and here you go.... X
  11. Hi there Interesting thread this. First off, I am a carnivore but obviously I believe in animal rights. We are steering away from animal testing and hunting and all that here right? This is just about eating meat? I can see why someone would choose to be a vegetarian but to say everyone should be and it is somehow morally wrong to eat meat I feel goes a little too far. The obvious argument is that lots of other animals eat meat to survive and, whilst I concur that we are capable of living without ingesting the flesh of other creatures, we do have incisors. We evolved to be carnivorous animals. In fact it was only when we started to cook and eat meat that we gained the necessary nutrients to evolve in the manner that we have. We would not be the conscious, creative, beautiful species we are now unless we had started to cook and eat meat. I know that just because something has happened in the past does not mean that it is CORRECT but eating meat played a huge role in creating the miracle that is the human race and I feel that should not be overlooked. Also, I have a friend who has an illness which means she is advised by doctors to eat meat. I know anecdotal arguments are often tiresome but there are lots of people who need to eat meat in order to live a healthy life. What would be the answer for these people? Left to die or shunned because of there dirty habit (yes, yes that was a cheap emotive argument but it is worth noting that this argument is not always black and white). I don't know, of course I agree in trying to reduce the suffering of the animals but I think that eating meat is fine. Interesting topic though and when I am more awake I might think of other points to make. Cheers Rumble.
  12. Why has Noddy got a bell on his hat? Because he's a cvnt. X
  13. Really, really enjoyed this. Great movie though possibly about 20 minutes too long. A little flabby in places.
  14. If this has been mentioned already I apologise profusely and will chastise myself using a blunt instrument but 294 pages is too many for me to read. Just wanted to say my favourite movie ever is this...... http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://moviecritter.com/static/images/cover/rumble-fish-special-edition-.jpg&imgrefurl=http://moviecritter.com/movie/rumble-fish-995&usg=__Wn9HkrleVanvz48-rw45CuDuBHo=&h=500&w=351&sz=42&hl=en&start=3&zoom=1&tbnid=Lt2nxQ0jhm8DVM:&tbnh=130&tbnw=91&ei=1jHuTY2VI8rQtAa42d3gAw&prev=/search%3Fq%3Drumble%2Bfish%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26hs%3Dzvx%26sa%3DX%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26biw%3D1248%26bih%3D898%26tbm%3Disch%26prmd%3Divnsb&itbs=1&biw=1248&bih=898 Hence my name. Not that interesting a post really is it? Sorry everyone. GREAT, GREAT movie though. X
  15. Deserter's Songs by Mercury Rev. Always loved it but haven't listen to it in about 5 years. Moved flat not long ago and had one of those "Oooooh, I think I'll go through my old CDs" days. Put it on and just sat and listened to the whole thing. Realised it is probably an even better album than I even used to think. Just absolutely beautiful. It sounds like a soundtrack for an unmade Disney movie that's about death and addiction and depression instead of mermaids or dwarfs or whatever. Just perfect, x

  17. Hi all. For some reason I have been moderated in some way and I can no longer start my own threads. I think I was just too damn clever, too damn funny and too damn handsome for all the squares on here. It's hard having someone who is better than you in every way around you sometimes so part of me understands. The reason I post here is that I have started a blog at http://rumblefox.wordpress.com/. I hate blogs and people that do it but I just wanted to ramble about Leicester and other topics and for people to see my rambles so if anyone wants to follow me that would be great. I can be moderately amusing at times and was once described by a teacher as being "one of the top twenty or thirty boys in the year at high jump". Quite impressive eh? Anyway, if you would like to become followers of me (I am a kind of God) then come along. If not that's fine. I wouldn't blame you as I am a bit of an arse. See you all soon and cannot ****ing wait for next season. Come on you Foxes!! Rumble. X
  18. Hi All Long time reader of this here site but only joined up today (needed to replace the vacuum in my life left by the closure of 606 and being as I have little to no life thought I would sign up). Been a Fox for 20 years now (Thanks Dad. Thanks Granddad) but living up in sunny Scotland for the last 3 years so find these sites really useful. Anyway, hope to converse with you all soon. Come on you Foxes! (I still think we can do it based on nothing more then just getting promoted with Leicester on cm0102 {I don't really move with the times very much}). Cheers Rumble Fox PS Just re read that and thought "Jeez Rumble, slow down with the brackets you loser". (Sorry everyone). X
