I Just Want Us To Win A Game I’ve Had Enough -
Gary Downett more like.
-
Well bugger me backwards and sh1t my w@nk.
-
Thing is, despite the last couple of games, we could just still be really really bad at football.
-
Okoli brace.
-
Are they taking new NHS patients?
-
I get jokes.

Is she a dentist?
-
Does a brace not mean two goals? Why are we talking about teeth? Have I made a mistake?
-
I’m confused? I meant that he will score two goals, this is commonly called a “brace”. Why are we talking about aeroplanes?
-
But things a football forum? Why would I be talking about his teeth?
-
No I meant a brace as in “two goals”. I don’t have any information regarding his dental situation, I’m not sure why you’d take it that way?
-
Daka brace.

Looks like that dad at the school gate who doesn’t look like anything at all and you’re sure isn’t as clever as you but works offshore and earns £100k a year and everyone seems to like him more than you. For that reason it’s a no from me.

Solid method.

If we did get relegated, who would still be here next season?

Depressing as fvck isn’t it. -
Thanks, fairly simple, I understand it now. Chemistry was never my strong point. I suppose under those rules every single transfer ever is a Schrödingers cat transfer?

You are completely 100% correct. Questioning things is good. Like you questioned him and then I questioned you. Thank you for agreeing. All I know is that as an objective observer I read your post with less 👏 and more 🙄. Just seems a bit harsh on the guy when I think we all know what he meant. You called my post waffle and then answered your own question and agreed with the point I was making. Yes Souttar and Lascelles have played football before. They were not just created and beamed into the squad. They are not unknown entities. We may have opinions on them as footballers. These opinions may be poorly researched, based on very little. But they’re not insane. It just felt a little harsh on the guy that’s all. You are clearly very intelligent and very good at debating and well done to you on that. We all applaud you. But honestly (and I may be wrong because this is my opinion) I don’t think many people reading the offending post from the other guy were thinking what you were thinking. It just read as a bit needlessly obtuse to dive into semantics so heavily. Also, can you explain how it is a “Shrödinger’s Cat” team selection? Seems a poorly used analogy to me?

Tbf, I’ve never experienced a big shop from Waitrose, nor driving a Rolls Royce. I have, however, experienced Asda’s finest and driving a Dacia. Having not experienced the other two, separately or in tandem, I can still surmise they might be better than the other options I do have experience with. In a hypothetical where someone asked me “which of the two combinations would you PREFER” I might plump for Waitrose/Rolls Royce partnership. Even though I have no experience of them. I understand the basis of your point but it’s pretty harsh to jump on a guy for semantics. If you asked him “so what partnership would you PREFER to see next game” it isn’t wildly unreasonable for him to state Souttar/Lascelles. Even though he’s never seen it. Nor, then, is it a wild leap to express this wish using the words “my preferred partnership”. I get your point but it’s hardly like he’s stated “objectively this partnership is the best”. I think you’ve jumped on him a bit too eagerly and a little too much for the situation. Anyone reading his comment knew what he meant. Well, I did anyway.

I think this was exactly it though. We were just better when he played. Sometimes it’s not possible to even analyse. He made the team play better. I was reading a random Guardian write up of one of our 15/16 matches the other day for some reason and they highlighted his quiet importance. “But there was also a crucial, unseen contribution from another impressive performer: Shinji Okazaki. As Mahrez received the ball on the right, Okazaki glanced around to see Kanté storming forward and Vardy sprinting into the left-hand channel, so he made a clever decoy run towards the right, taking Mark Noble away from the defensive midfield zone, opening up space for Kanté to burst into, and helping to create the goal. It was textbook Okazaki: tactically intelligent, on the move, playing a supporting role.” Sums up his importance to me. As does this… “This was not, in conventional terms, an impressive individual forward performance. Okazaki had no shots, did not dribble past any opponents and recorded a pass completion rate of under 50%. But Okazaki excels in the small, subtle details, and his style is perfect for Leicester’s game plan. If the Foxes are a relatively limited attacking side, depending upon counterattacking and set pieces for goals, it helps to have a forward that creates opportunities in both respects.” He was as important as any other player in my opinion. There’s no way a team like Leicester wins the league unless every single player is 100% on it every game, all season. Love the wee twat.

Every single one of that team is a legend and was integral to our win. Absolute Leicester legend and one of the most likeable players we’ve ever had. Genuinely love the guy. Had to put himself out too. Wasn’t overly happy with not being an out and out striker but he did it anyway and never gave anything less than 100%. Would have him back here in any capacity in a second.

Would be our first ever brummie if I’m not mistaken.
