Britpop was a bit shit in hindsight.

Also. Chris Moyles.

When people on here make up “hilarious” names for managers like “Bodgers” or “Blooper”.

Asked for a cheese cob in a Greggs just off Princes Street when I first moved to Scotland. Woman looked at me like I’d shit on the floor.

Annoying as fvck though.

There probably isn’t any logic. It’s an emotional decision based in the fact that he seems a nice enough guy. But you’re right, logically the signs point to a replacement being the best option.
-
I genuinely would give Cooper more time as I just can’t stand the sacking culture in football but he’s certainly not doing the best he could. Baffling decisions and poor in game management.

Bournemouth (H) Pre match thread (05.10.24, 3pm)

I mean this is the team isn’t it (apart from Ricardo should be in for JJ but it seems that’s never happening). We can all see it. Everyone can. I’m not saying we’d be great. But clearly this is the team that we all want to see and that would give us the best chance of winning. Won’t happen though will it. -
It’s funny. I really want Ndidi to play the 10 role and think he’s out best option there at the moment but also the very sentence “I really want Ndidi to play the 10 role” makes me want to die.
-
I believe the point is, the stats suggest we are overachieving and are likely to regress. The last thing I would ever want is to call for someone to be sacked, it’s a horrible thing and never feels right but we really really are looking very bad and something needs to change.

Genuinely as good as anything we’ve put out in the league this season. 😞

Leicester City versus Everton Tactical Analysis

My only input is can you make yourself bigger in the videos and the content smaller? #absolutedreamboat -
It’s ridiculous to say this game is a must win. But, you know, must win.

Haha. I was today years old when I found out putting an x on the end of messages was annoying. X

I don’t think baffling he’s not starting IF the manager wants a different system. But zero minutes is genuinely confusing.
-
I don’t disagree with anything you’ve said really but last season he was our best player. Granted he was not playing traditional “fullback” but to go from best player to no minutes at all is baffling.
-
Honestly, the last thing I want to do is “beat the manager” and I’d like to think I’m not dense (though thanks for the blanket insult of half the forum, always helps persuade people to your point of view) but the Ricardo thing is perplexing. Yes maybe “mystery” was the wrong word but I don’t want to get bogged down in semantics. For Ricardo not to even get any minutes when he was arguably our best player last season and, in my opinion, the most gifted footballer at the club is insane and I don’t blame people at all for questioning it. It’s a travesty.

Hours of work. Paragraphs and paragraphs of high quality content. Almost an hour of insightful video and you know my only takeaway? “Strider is more attractive than I’d imagined him to be”.

As others have pointed out the reason seems to be that Cooper wants a more defensive/physically robust fullback on the right to slot in at centre back. However the one very small issue with this is……. Ricardo is the best footballer at the club by a fairly large margin and not playing him is absolutely mental. He’s also a model pro and deserves to be treated far better. I’m actually one of the “you have to give Cooper time” fans but his treatment of Ricardo is baffling and he needs to realise soon that he has to be the first name on the team sheet.

I wouldn’t disagree generally but would be hard to drop Ndidi after 2 assists.
-
Yeah I feel the same. Happy enough to start with Winks, Skipp and Ndidi as long as we have two attacking wingers and positive changes are made.
-
Hermansen Ricardo Faes Okoli Justin Skipp Winks Fatuwu Ndidi Mavididi Vardy I don’t mind starting like this as long as any subs we make are forward thinking and not sticking a DM or defender on for an attacking player.

Preferred his earlier stuff as Cat Stevens.
