I think RVN was considered in the summer but deemed to risky. I’m not sure our board will lower their risk tolerance from a position of needing to sack cooper. If cooper goes we go for potter and when that fails, we will bring in a so-called ‘proven’ numbskull again.

Genuinely think they could have pushed on if they had never brought him in. He disrupted them when they’d finally got things back on track. A huge sliding doors moment as he caused issues for staff and players alike. ETH lost so much of the dressing room over ronaldo’s antics and it’s hard to get that respect back when one of the best, has been telling everyone how awful you are. hmm Alves got to a place where he was too good for under 23 football. He got injured for literally being too damn good in a game. He rarely plays for the team because he’s deemed first team, so i’m not sure how he can use the under 23s to show he’s ready if he’s not even getting regular minutes for that side now. I think with a team like spurs, you’re either in the first team and in contention or your in the youth team… for some reason we’ve got a limbo area where Alves has fallen and now he lacks match sharpness. It’s a gross mismanagement of him and we are damn lucky he signed his new deal before all of this negligence with his career

Spurs give Mikey Moore a shot at 17 and we won’t give ours a try unless they’re 22 with a few years of loans under their belts. Respect the bravery of them to give him a go. Don’t think he’s any better than Alves but would take a injury crisis before he gets a real chance here.

If that was us i’d be shouting conspiracy’s Never a pen, the ref could see it wasn’t and was uneasy but felt he had to give it because he’d been sent to the screen. Then VAR panic, realise they’ve got it wrong and try their best to find another reason not to give it. This is the problem with trying to work out if it’s bias or not, the people running the show are so incompetent to that it really is impossible to tell what’s cheating from them and what is simply a bad call. They also then gave them an age at the end of the game to get back in it which was bad even for fergie time.
