Best goals we've seen at the King Power

Not one of ours and I only really enjoy it because that was the first time we beat Man U in yonks, but the di Maria chip over Kasper from outside the box is genuinely so beautiful. From a technique point of view, that has to be up there for perfection -
It’s obviously class, but I did wonder why he didn’t throw himself at it. Seemed to give up on it. I think he wanted it to go in as he knew it was special 😆

I meant Emile

Surely heskey on loan is a better move

Well done! Still not convinced but he’s slowly improving some issues and this 11 is the best we’ve got. If we play like that every week, we can still achieve promotion

Pre Match - Ipswich (H) Dec 13th 3pm

Mcateer hasn’t score for them yet has he? In fact, I think his last goal was against Ipswich -
Believe it or not, we likely distanced ourselves from the high fitness demands because of the awful injury’s we got with Rodgers. We literally just use sea grave as a spa these days with occasional footy

Our squad (other than James) is completely lacking any real characters. I realise we’ve been burnt with coady but that was an obvious one imo. Antonio, was an excellent leader at west ham. He’s the type of player that would always score in a derby. He was essentially their version of vardy. Whether we sign him or not, he is worth taking a look at. Because currently, there’s not a single leader at sea grave… and I don’t just mean players

Good point for Fuchs with 10 men

Based on the reports about January spending, I think we have to accept that he’s going nowhere. We don’t have a few mill to pay him off.

Mental substitutions. What was with bdr playing cm for 5 mins. Clueless from the touchline. We didn’t give ourselves any chance of keeping the ball out of our net -

Just one of those guys who finds the space well and is calm in front of goal isn’t he? this is the guy I thought we’d signed from Fulham. -

Haha we just won’t make games easy will we -
I would be surprised if he’s actually injured and not just taking time off before forcing a loan through in Jan

When you watch the under 23s and see a player standing out head and shoulders above, do you see their quality? Because league 2 is a far higher standard than that football so if they are standing out when you watch them, you can see that talent. And with the added fan pressure on them I don’t disagree a loan will be better for his development. But just because he’s not had that higher level opportunity doesn’t mean that people’s views of his talent are incorrect. -

Because you can clearly see the quality. I’m surprised we have fans with this attitude when we’ve proven on so many occasions that the loan system works. nelson was also out of favour at a league 2 club before switching to another one. It’s not because he wasn’t good enough but the fact that using a youth player learning the game who will make mistakes (that’s why they are there) is not always going to be there preference over an experienced professional. Who may not be as talented but knows when to make a foul and how to time waste etc. When kdh went to blackpool, I think it was obvious he was going to make it. The luton loan just nailed that certainty. when Barnes went to Barnsley it was obvious he was going to make it, the west brom loan just nailed it. I think people really don’t understand that the step up between league 2 and the championship is really not that big and Sammy will be good enough. The question is whether he has had enough experience to jump right in yet, probably not. He needs a different type of challenge at a league 1 club who preferably play in a more similar way to ourselves. Being the best player but still being awful is very different tot he reviews and stats coming in for Sammy. He’s not the best of a bad bunch, they all acknowledge he’s far too good for league 2… which is tough to say when you’re at the bottom of the table. personally, I’d try and get him to Peterborough for the second half of the season and then integrate him to start for us for next year my question for you, would be to find a player who had generally been too good for his loan club but wasn’t good enough for us? Because I can’t think of any. You get a couple that do decent before eventually dropping off. But the ones that end up the best players at the club tend to make it. The only real shocking one for me was benkovic. I still to this day don’t really understand what went wrong for him. -

A good tournament and a bid from Saudi Arabia would be the dream. Like when we shifted musa

I used to really enjoy these. Can’t believe Ghana didn’t even qualify
-
Who are we loosing to this? As Ghana didn’t qualify is it just Daka that will be gone? Or am I shamefully forgetting someone? We are very lucky, because can you imagine if we just had Carranza as a striker Hopefully Evan’s will get a few opportunities now

Yeah….. but the Maynard saga
