Exactly this is the reason for our downfall. There is no intensity in our play whatsoever. Obviously they're the best team in the country so they're going to be better than us but I watched the Arsenal game on Friday night and they were electric both with the ball (ever pass is with intent and at pace) and without it (on the odd occasion where they do lost the ball they demand it back with their pressing and harrying of the opposition) Watch us on the ball and every pass is just rolled into feet... watch us without the ball and we jog around the pitch. The football we play is painfully slow and extremely easy to play against.

It just is a top class facility. Doesnt mean we’ve got the pull to get all the best youngsters like Barcelona do to turn it into La Masia but it does give us a lot more of a say in hoovering the best players locally and the training ground is a huge pull in attracting players.

I think he meant that there's no need for a golf course (It's a professional football training facility, that should be obvious). AND Seagrave itself is a financial burden. Both true statements. We need to get out of League 1 ASAP to ensure that Seagrave doesn't become completely unsustainable.

I'm not suggesting there wasn't a massive underperformance last season. I think without a points deduction the bookies would have probably had us finishing top half/play offs. But we absolutely were not perceived to be one of the strongest teams in the division. Certainly not amongst Leicester fans.

Ultimately you want both and we were unfortunate we had a squad of players that were mentally weak with a piss poor DoF and an uninterested Chairman. I think it's most important that the playing squad is as good as it can be and the move to Seagrave should have assured that. As I said, if we'd just stayed up in 2023 I'm sure we would have the stadium redevelopment well underway by now.

Definitely not for the Premier League relegation but last season the bookies had us as more likely to go down than go up. It's very difficult to argue that this current team isn't one of the strongest in the division, it's why the bookies have us as clear favourites to win the league.

Based on the fact we've got one of the strongest sides in the division and a manager that has no real business managing a club this low down the pyramid. Nothing is great, or even good at the moment. But suggesting things couldn't get worse with new owners is clearly bollocks. No side has ever had their season defined by one league game. Especially when half the attack we've got is injured.

Ultimately if we didn't get relegated in 2023 we would have both the stadium and Seagrave. That relegation killed us. I disagree with your last point. I think we're a bigger club with Seagrave than we would have been with an extra 8k seats IMO. Anyone from inside that club that blames Seagrave for their own inadequacies should be sacked.
