Hearts, Hearts, glorious Hearts

Perceived benefits are different to material benefits. Some people think that breaking a mirror gives you 7 years bad luck for instance.

Clearly poor form and not 'the done thing' by Southampton but the whole thing is a massive farce. I would say that anyone that can work out how a team is planning to play a football match from presumably very far away is clearly an absolute genius and that anyone whose teams play in such an obvious manner will be found out immediately by a semi-competent manager anyway. The Southampton manager is clearly a bit of a prat. Should have taken the Bielsa approach and fronted up to it. However, he was definitely outdone by the Middlesbrough manager's tears in the press conference. Absolutely embarrassing. Southampton should get a heavy fine and a smack on the wrists for being so pathetic and we can all move on.

Send them up to the Austrian mountains or wherever it was that Sir Nige used to take them. Get them on bikes for 60 miles a day up and down the hills.

Having just seen the VAR process for this goal and listened to what they've got to say... I actually just think Raya should punch the ball. I think that aspect has gone from goalkeepers. They all seem to think they've got a divine right to be able to catch the ball without pressure. I'm veering towards it being a mistake from him to attempt to catch it.

5000/1 Anniversary Match To Support Local Causes - Saturday 30th May

Ulloa confirmed as a returning legend yet the last thing he did for us was wail to BBC News about how rubbish it was here and about how he was desperate to leave. -
For me the issue is that Arsenal have consistently gotten away with similar decisions all season long. There is no clear line. It's a similar situation to the penalties both teams got when we played West Ham at home in the build up to winning the league. Neither of those penalties would have been given earlier in the season yet it felt like referees trying to make a name for themselves. Also, I think the West Ham player that eventually fouls the keeper is being pushing and shoved himself. It sits firmly in that area where the on-field decision was a goal so I don't understand the need to overturn it considering there is so much chaos and so many fouls in such a short period of time. For me, football has lost it's way as an entertainment business that became massive due to the raw emotion. We're lost in an era of super slow motion HD cameras that detect and exacerbate any movement. Football has a deliberately vague ruleset. I wish they took the mantra of "play on" and just let football entertain people rather than frustrating them.

Coady never played under Enzo. No wonder he slagged him off.

We can only wait and see. I personally think we were filled to the brim with fans who weren’t adding to the atmosphere and were going home bored after 80 minutes, and I think it’s those people who haven’t renewed.
-
Assuming this figure is accurate, it'll be interesting to see how 17k new fans affects the atmosphere in the stadium. I would like to think that it's 17k motivated supporters who have replaced 17k people who have sat there in silence for years and have refused to hold the club to account.

Standard ministerial behaviour in Britain these days.

Genuinely surprised at that.

It's a 100% yes from me. I just want to fall back in love with Leicester again.

Max Lowe Left Back / Back 3 - Sheff Weds Out of Contract

Beggars can't be choosers but if it's between Thomas or Lowe then I choose Thomas. -

I'd genuinely rather just promote Mirsad Ali as the Thomas back up. If we do have room in the budget to go after a left back then it should be one that is good going forward. Thomas should be a more than capable League 1 fullback. He's played nearly 200 professional games now. -
Spurs fans don't give their players anywhere near enough grief.
-
That's one of the best saves I have seen in ages considering the situation.

I know there are 10 minutes to go..... Sky have hyped Maddison up yet he simply does not have the clutch moment gene. No way he grabs a game like this by the scruff of it's neck. Made sure he got a handshake from everyone when he came on though didn't he.

Development/Youth Squads 2025/2026 Thread - U18/U21

Charlie Mountain is a fantastic name for a goalkeeper. -
Horrendous creativity stats (15 career assists in league football for a 25 year old winger is awful) and Burton won't give him up so soon after signing him without wanting a few quid given he scored a few goals. I don't think he'd be right for us.
-
Change blue to black and that would actually be a very nice kit. and obviously remove the King Power sponsorship.
-
I don't like that we're being run by such dweebs.
-
I saw that the other way around and panicked haha. About 6k season tickets sold would probably lead to us going bust.
