This obsession with signing 20 year old wingers is killing them. They need experience in key positions.
-
Not a penalty for me because unless Awonyi has flubber in his boots he isn't getting anywhere near that. But insanely stupid from Gusto nonetheless.
-
Chelsea remind me a little bit of us in our 1st relegation season. Three stand out players in midfield yet they cannot play together as a 3. Meaning they've ended up having to play their best player out wide to keep him in the team. They'd be better off getting rid of Fernandez IMO. Bring in a proper midfield general to play alongside Caicedo and let Palmer run the game in his natural position. Someone like Tonali would be a good signing for them and would improve them.

The monkey's paw continues to curl.

Would take your arm off for him. Someone with passion and an immediate connection with supporters? Bring it on. Ultimately he'll be going into a League 1 season with a squad that really should be in the higher end of the Championship.
-
Shame for him in a way because he was world class before his injury. However the social media carry on is an absolute piss take. He’s been captain for two seasons and we’ve been relegated twice. Nod of appreciation, sure. Hashtag thank you Ricardo? **** off.

Literally only now have I realised Ballard plays for Leyton Orient and not Lincoln Been telling everyone that'll listen that there's no way he'd leave the Championship to play for us.

Followed by ads for PaddyPower, BetFred, Prostate Cancer awareness, Pepto Bismol, Guinness (only the 0% version though), Ladbrokes, Gaviscon and the British Heart Foundation.

It'll be that sweet spot between the most senior set of players available without risking a player we'll be hoping to sell.
-
Lascelles too. I dread to think how much we've been paying the former captain of a UCL side. We've conceded 13 goals in the 592 minutes he's played for us.
-
I suppose they must do given ITV are spending money to film them. Just doesn't interest me at all though
-
I get it with the Fury family though because they are genuinely mental. But what does Rebecca Vardy actually do? What does Jamie do when he gets in from training? What are they doing that makes people want to watch?
-
What's crazy to me is... who gives a **** about Rebecca Vardy? Honestly, does she ever say anything interesting? Trying not to be sexist but she is just a typical WAG latching on to Jamie's money and success. She wasn't exactly subtle about it when she ditched her ex for him. I can't imagine there are many people who don't care about Jamie Vardy but do care about Rebecca Vardy.

Brighton plan Europe's first purpose-built £80m women's stadium

10k is hardly a ceiling though. All this is doing is putting a firm cap on the growth. They should be aiming to get more people watching womens football at the Amex. With the way womens football is growing, it shouldn't be long until that 10k is too small. What happens then? -
It's difficult to put this across in a way that doesn't come across as sour grapes but I don't think Coventry have improved since 23/24 or 24/25. I do think you've got a lot of typically 'decent' Championship players and very few genuine Premier League players. I also think it's crazy that the likes of Millwall, Wrexham, Derby, Hull and Middlesbrough all have a realistic chance to go up. There are very, very few Premier League quality players in those sides. Overall this Championship season has felt a lot more like a slog than a display of quality football. I think the same can be said for the Premier League too. Coventry have made up for their lack of real x-factor players by their determination and also the way Lampard has managed them. They appear to be the most solid team with the fewest chinks in their armour.

He shouldn't. Not being funny but he is massively above our level these days, such is life under the little one. Parker's Championship record is that good that he'll be the target of anyone wanting/expecting promotion next season.

5000/1 Anniversary Match To Support Local Causes - Saturday 30th May
AKCJ replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Should have been held close to the start of the next season. Should have been a legends match followed by something like an open training session or a friendly for the 1st team. Would have been a nice feel good event to start the new season. -

Anthony Herlihy – Director of Noncommunication
AKCJ replied to thlcfc93's topic in Leicester City Forum
All we need to hear right now are the team sheets as they come out then an announcement that the game has kicked off followed by the final score 105 minutes later. We've conceded roughly 70 goals in a Championship season where the most deadly strikers are the likes of Haji Wright, Ollie McBurnie and Josh Windass and Anthony wants to keep pumping out these happy go lucky interviews. Herlihy published 130 words of AI slop supposedly signed off by the Chairman after our relegation and 1,300 words for a meaningless interview with Kasey Keller. -

Worst season in the club's history and this muppet thinks we want to read interviews with Kasey Keller. The club is entirely ignoring how bad things are.- 429 replies
