The issue isn't a lack of pace. Faes and Vestergaard simply cannot defend. They are just shite players. Simpson, Morgan and Konchesky hardly screamed pace and we added Robert Huth to that. But that team went on to keep 6 clean sheets in our last 14 games.

Dawson can actually defend and isn't on 100k a week. About 5 years too late though.

There are three issues. Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn. John Rudkin. Susan Whelan. I think the only realistic way forward is for Rudkin and Whelan to be sacked immediately and for Raksriaksorn to spend the next 3/4 months looking for a buyer. Then the club can go into the new season with a new board and new owners.
