0-0 against 10 man Turkey at home btw
-
It's true but nobody scores as many as he does for Man City than him.
-
Fairly certain he's never been to a football match in his life. "When Martin O'Neil turned his back on us, I was cut deep. It made me more resolved to cheer the lads on. The day we were relegated, I was the last one off the Holte.". Yeah course you were mate.
-
He’s from Morocco Our midfield dynamo He hates the Cov Scum and Forest don't you know He loves the Leicester Stevie Cooper's blues His name is Bilal, Bilal El Khannouss
-
Doubt it. We've already got millions of centre halves. I think if we're going to sign a free agent it'll be a left back.
-
I hate it when footballers go mardy because they don't want to drink Guinness before a game of football.
-
Surely this is a wind up? Why do you think we couldn't afford to sign a Kasper replacement or Lookman etc? Might it be because our DoF had signed off on dozens of horrible deals plunging the club into making monumental losses? PSR didn't make us spend our budgets on the tripe that we signed up. We pissed HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS up the wall on footballers that are or were utter shite.
-
What caused the idea that he was good for Sevilla to be parroted on here?
-
We haven't changed our targets yet our budget has changed massively. As you say, we are still buying players at the same level of Mendy, Benalouane, Inler etc but we've been offering them 80/90/100k a week.
-
No, what happened is we bought too much absolute shit and gave them monumental contracts they hadn't earned. PSR didn't make us buy Soumare, Daka, Vestergaard, Bertrand, Castagne, Silva, Perez, Praet, Faes, Souttar, Kristiansen etc. Nor did it force us to hand eye watering contracts to the likes of Choudhury or Justin. Absolutely nothing to do with PSR. Entirely to do with the incompetence of our board.
-
Yes, the Director of Football has a say on transfers.
-
We've gone from a position of real strength to floundering with a squad worth absolutely nothing in 3 years time because the board has completely failed. You can blame the rules they voted in favour of all you like. The club was relegated with the 7th highest wage bill and here we are now with nothing to show for it having sold all of our saleable assets to make sure we don't make further massive losses. If the rules did stifle competition as much as you claim then why are Aston Villa in the Champions League when we were each in the same boat in October 2022? They decided to act and sack their underperforming manager while we floundered and did nothing.
-
Step 1. Europa League level club interested. Step 2. Said club enquires into his wages. Step 3. Said club no longer interested. Rinse and repeat.
-
Pack this mentality in and put the magnifying glass directly on the people responsible. Namely the board room at LCFC. It's their incompetence that we're in a situation where we're employing extremely expensive lawyers to find loopholes in rules we know we broke. We are in this position because Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, Apichet Srivaddhanaprabha, Susan Whelan, Kevin Davies, Jon Rudkin et al have royally ****ed up. It has nothing to do with the Premier League or the EFL and we'll be doomed to make the same mistakes again if we don't point the blame and make changes with the people that caused them.

Remember thinking that was a piss take at the time as well. Football is wank now.
-
We as fans need to stop taking this viewpoint. The club failed massively and did breach spending rules. Gross incompetence from the club is why we're in this position and we can't simply brush it under the carpet. Only a completely ridiculous technicality is the reason why we're not going to be forcefully relegated when we absolutely should be. the club failed us and they need to be taken to account.

Bloody hell, is that per game?

I love this website.
