  1. I'd have thought that selling Fatawu this summer is very much the plan. With the profits pay for James, a left back and a striker and let Monga have a much bigger role. I think we'd probably be in a better position afterwards if they can get a striker and left back that is at least of reasonable quality. Currently they're two massive holes in the team.
  2. Couple of things from that. 1. How ****ing good is KDH. I'd love to have him back. 2. Danny Ward has the reaction times of a toddler. Could have easily gotten up and made an attempt to stop the ball for that 1st goal.
  3. It's pretty ****ing bleak isn't it. Still don't think that sacking the manager will change much but what choice do we have at this point.
  4. Knowing how tone deaf the club it's quite likely that this plan involves Rennes recalling him and selling him to someone like Wolves.
  5. I haven't been for a couple of months now but earlier in the season I saw the club put on the big screens that they were looking for local musicians to have their music played at the KP. Worth getting in touch with them to have their music played to 20-25k people.
  6. I have this same issue. A lot of people thinking "King Power" are the owners and always have been. Vichai was very much a hands on, i'm in charge, lead by example, father figure type. The players loved and respected him. Aiyawatt could not be further from that. They're two completely different businessmen. I get the feeling that a lot of people at the club undermine Aiyawatt because he's a bit of a pushover and he's too uninterested to care about it.
  7. Boubacary Soumare was one of the best midfielders in Ligue 1 when Lille won the title. Shows all you need to know about the standard over there.
  8. It's difficult to get fans to get on board with a really good, meaningful protest when King Power has spent 4/5 years generating a complete feeling of apathy within the fanbase. It was a slow death but one that fans could see coming. I think that's made our downfall happen infront of our eyes so there's no real shock or surprise. Obviously there have been some really toxic days at the King Power (3-0 down at half time against Wolves and Sheffield United spring to mind) but on the whole going 1-0 down just brings about Sack the board drones without real meaning or venom. It's going to take this getting a lot worse before it's consistently toxic against the board.
  9. Not having a go but I'm surprised that UFS members are seemingly surprised that regular fans don't realise that the standing section isn't full of UFS members. It feels like the whole corner is designed to look like it's UFS's corner so surely you can understand why fans think that any noise coming from that corner is coming from UFS members. I don't particularly see the need to brand yourself as being part of a group that has a name and structure. I've said on here before that I don't think it really adds much outside of the Tifos. The whole 'ultra' scene has never been my cup of tea but I don't want to judge other people's tastes. My take on it would be that if you're in the singing section, just get on with it and sing. It feels like there's a divide between UFS members and regular supporters in the singing/standing section and it isn't contributing to a good atmosphere. But, ultimately, I think atmosphere is 95% dependant on what is happening on the pitch.
  10. I suppose that's the big drawback of putting your name out there as being a part of a specific supporter group.
  11. My two pennies worth from someone that had no idea it was going on. 1. Absolutely barmy that anyone would look at what is going on at the club and think 20 lads singing is the problem. 2. It's nuts that a man can walk over to them, start a scrap and then return to his seat. 3. I think it's wrong to walk out en-masse because someone had a pop. Perfect opportunity to crank it up even more IMO.
  12. This is absolutely sensational Special mention to the bloke who says "Don't you ****ing dare" before it goes in.
  13. But but but King Power gave him a donut 7 years ago. What other owner would do that?!?!
  14. He's the a multi-billionaire that is backed by the rest of his family and his father's company. He's probably lost more down the back of the sofa. As you say, if that money meant anything to him then he'd be serious about ensuring it doesn't happen. He literally cares more about riding horses than the business he owns that is bleeding millions per year.
  15. These people amaze me. How could anyone get the impression that Aiyawatt gives a ****? He's never here. Even when he did his big "we're sorry for not communicating" interview he was in some luxury office suites in fecking Bangkok.
  16. Strange people are the Yamals.
  17. Is it bizarre? It's like we've signed the modern day Ali Dia. He's so out of his depth.
  18. Some game this. Neither budging and both playing well.
  19. His headed clearances go miles. So good in the air. Hopefully he can find the aggression in his game needed to be a bit of a Gabriel type and become a monster on set pieces.
  20. I'm sat at home with it on in my living room and I don't know. The commentator hasn't raised his voice all 2nd half so I haven't had a reason to look up from my laptop.
  21. There's none at the club mate.
  22. On one hand I feel sorry for him. On the other he avoids playing with Jordan Ayew for a few more weeks.
  23. Thomas is laughable. There has to be someone better than him at the club.
  24. Ayew and Mavididi both have this trait of looking busy on the ball but doing absolutely **** all and slowing the game down.
