In mid-October 2022, Leicester and Villa were both in the bottom 3 of the Premier League. Leicester chose to stick with their manager until March and replaced him with Dean Smith. Villa acted immediately and got Unai Emery. Leicester were relegated. Villa finished 7th. This is what happens when your owner does not care and is happy to let things rot while he plays with his horsies.

By the way (as with all of the sackings this twerp has made) he won't be replaced for weeks. Aiyawatt and Rudkin do not ever think about whats going to happen tomorrow when it comes to managing this club.
-
I don't like journalists using the "he hasn't spent any money" excuse. He's got the squad with the biggest wage budget the league has ever seen and he brought in two very proven Championship level players in the summer in on loan.

I voted yes but this is a great point. I don't mind him staying as a caretaker but he should keep his job when we appoint a serious manager. One with Pearson-esque methods and philosophies.
-
Mad that the next game is Charlton at home and yet it's a serious question to ask where our next game is coming from. That is life under Aiyawatt.

Pressure of playing for Leicester? I couldn't think of a cushier job. Patson Daka is on £80k a week and has been for 4 and a half seasons. In that time he has scored 18 league goals. A serious club gets rid of someone like that yet 90% of the club is in a similar circumstance. You're rewarded for failure at a Leicester. That is the opposite of pressure.

This guy doesn’t know his arsehole from his ear hole.

The lads been given every handicap known to man but we can’t continue to go on like this. There needs to be change higher than him but he needs to go too. i do think that he’s the worst pick for the current plight. My worry is that I don’t see who will take this job that’s worth appointing. We need a Wilder/Robins/Pearson type IMO.

It was like that when we were in it to be fair.

Life under Aiyawatt. Wasn't that long ago people on here were turning their nose up at Thomas Frank.

Looking forward to the "Jordan will return to Stade Rennais to begin a period of rehabilitation following surgery on a groin tear. Jordan leaves with the well wishes of everyone here at Leicester City #ThankYouJordan" tweet later on.

I don't think it's possible for the traitors to win from this point if Rachel gets the shield. Stephen had to vote her off and he bottled it. There's no way that the faithful vote to end the game if they haven't got a traitor out since Fiona.

FA Cup: Southampton (A) - Sat 14th Feb 3pm
AKCJ replied to Yes N'Didi's topic in Ticket News and Travel
It'd be nice if we got the same price, or if the club subsidised fans the same as Southampton have. -
I'm personally waiting for the tweet that says the price is too steep or something along those lines followed by a club like Preston North End signing him.

'I Want People To Be Closer' - Khun Top Speaks
AKCJ replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
100% There's no club in the country that benefits from a club whose owner is constantly talking to their fans. I know people think that that's what they want from Aiyawatt but really they want change. Aiyawatt was right to come out and say that change is needed but he's not delivered on that. He didn't need to tell us that change was needed until they were in a position to do so. We should have heard from Aiyawatt when he was shaking hands with a new Director of Football at a press conference held at Seagrave. The Bangkok interview was blatantly a response to the chants at the Norwich game. It wasn't well thought out at all but it kept the right people quiet for King Power and ensured the usual types leapt to their defence for a month or two. -
Saw the notification that we'd equalised and that Louis Page had scored and was midly happy about it until I realised it was actually Vestergaard who scored and it's just prolonged the agony of this miserable football with nothing worth being excited about.

Charlton (H) Protest Saturday 31st January 12:30KO
AKCJ replied to 1884HF's topic in Leicester City Forum
Everyone trying to be the one to start off a protest is stopping these from working properly. Proper protests are arranged by proper supporter groups. The problem is that it's only UFS that have the bollocks to stand up to King Power but they have a small membership. It needs the Foxes Trust or similar to take a stand. -

The jokes write themselves. Surely her surname isn't actually Disney. -
I can't imagine there will be a high bar to get one for next season. STH attendance levels have been through the floor this season. Only have to look at the "official attendance" levels. They announced something like 27k for the WBA home game and it was less than half full.

Hate to be woke but come on mate...

They're at home and are above us in the league. It's certainly not blind optimism.
-
Yeah I think we'll fold here and Marti will get binned as a result. We're destined to watch Forest stay up, Coventry go up and for us to finish behind Derby.

Being an Arsenal striker watching Saka take 5 years to cross the ball must be extremely frustrating.
