Come off it, it was such an obvious draw. This afternoon you were something like 220/4 at the time of the Gill wicket. I really don't believe you if you're saying you thought there was any sort of jeopardy. Not sure what the WinViz thing would have been saying but i'm sure it wouldn't have dropped below 90% for the draw today. The last 30/45 minutes was a farce. Brook was bowling absolute pies. Carse, Archer, Woakes and Stokes were all completely shattered and the pitch resembled a formula 1 track. Again, it's great for Sundar and Jadeja to get on the honours board but they were hardly match saving knocks. Other than their personal milestones i'm not really sure what was achieved today. The sort of day that turns people away from test cricket which is a shame considering how great the other tests have been. Old Trafford is clearly in a bad way at the moment, 5 draws on the bounce there in first class cricket. The pitches do nothing and then continue to get flatter and flatter. -

I could see myself getting excited for a draw if it's players like Archer and Carse at the crease and the Indian attack are raring to go for it. Similar to Cardiff in the 2009 Ashes series. Celebrating that was mostly because of the huge relief of getting away with it. It doesn't feel like this is anything like that. I don't see how any Indian fan thought there was a stage this afternoon where a draw wasn't going to happen. I dunno. I get that Sundar and Jadeja would want to get their 100s but the whole thing was a bit of a farce really. -

Not a great afternoon for test cricket. -
Dark days if we're quaking in our boots over a 50 year old Barry Bannan.

I was thinking this. Him and Smith could go berserk. All depends on when they're in I suppose. -

I thought England bowled really well. Could easily have had India out for a good 150 runs less than they got if they had a little bit more luck. India played and missed at loads. Maybe they should have gone slightly fuller. That said, I thought India did very well to get as many as they did. I didn't see Crawley and Duckett doing this well against the moving ball from Bumrah and Siraj. India are bowling horribly here and we need to cash in. -
Would be a great signing. Someone who would probably come here as a bench option but quickly take over from Patson. He impressed me in the Europa Conference when I saw him and that's mostly a Championship-ish level.

Also Enzo is quite clearly a top level manager.

The blokes could do with a Lucy Bronze. World class, been everywhere and won everything without an ego. Leads by example with her effort and determination.

Happened to us. First game as title holders.

Think about how far England have come under Weigman. To think Phil Neville was the last England manager.

Agyemang has been so good whenever i've watched her for England.

Saw them at Heaton Park at the weekend. 2-3 hours of some of the best music ever written played to perfection. Richard Ashcroft was phenomenal too. Urban Hymns, Morning Glory, Definitely Maybe.... Is there anyone active that can produce anything like those albums?

Can we really call Harry Winks "England International Harry Winks"?

Kit is wank.

Walshy fell asleep in a sunbed or something?

To be honest he could put himself in that back four and I would still expect us to beat Sheffield Wednesday by 3 goals.

Fatawu on the bench

They didnt fancy practicing penalties then?
