Wording sounds a bit like they’re negotiating a deal for when he leaves the club on a free next summer

Im completely the same. Used to reel about results for days, ruin free time, now I’ve gotten that down to about 10 minutes and a deep breath 😂 -

Just gonna put this out there, there may be “more important things in life” I do agree, but you don’t know how much the football can affect each individual, and some people can shrug it off others can’t as easily. -

Denayer is still on a free? Think he’s been very solid at Lyon the past 5/6 years
-
Imagine Soy, Vesty, Fofana & Amartey all go before deadline day. Sign Zagadou and Denayer and promote some youth until January. Sign a RW and we’d have had a good window
-
So this is from someone who works st the club - Whelan might be leaving. Had a huge busy up with Rodgers, and she may resign. Don’t shoot the messenger, but could be that way round, Brendan stays, Whelan goes

Wesley Fofana - He is no more - finished - forgotten.

We don’t only have £6m though do we? We needed to free up the bill, and would obviously offer less than Kasper’s current wages. -

I think we should keep him one more season, sell for £70m next summer. We could really start that rebuild. I think with Kasper’s wages gone, we should have enough to at least bring in a RW surely? A CB as well would do for this summer at least until January -
Should at least be looking at Nubel to replace.
-
Because 200k would make him our outright highest earner, when we’re struggling to cut the wage bill to bring new players in.
-
Nothing to do with twitter virgins, especially with the apparent £200k p/w we’re offering, it genuinely doesn’t make good financial sense. I’ll always back any player who puts the shirt on, but it’s so clear what needs to happen. If no offers come in, fine I accept its better than losing him on a free.

Signing a 1 yr deal, announcing it as #Tielemans2024, the club avoiding the line of questioning as to why its only a year, huge elephant in the room. It just all looks bad. If he had respect for the club, which I think he does tbf, he should be signing at least a 3 year deal with the understanding he can leave next summer but for better money for our club, maybe with a buyout clause
-
Him signing a 1 yr deal is publicly embarrassing for us. Surely we won’t agree.
-
Lets get Mustafi in and really go downhill

STOP SIGNING SOUTHAMPTON DEFENDERS
-
Ooooooh Benjie Benjie Benjie benjie benjie bourigeaud
-
Weird doesn’t seem like our profile of signing. Trincao maybe but not as excited as last summer, and the Rennes 2 are over 25. Really not liking the habit of signing over 25/26 yr olds atm. Vestergaard, Bertrand, these two. Not for me
-
Also the photoshopping around Vardy’s face is awful
-
Its not my favourite, feels very low effort but the thing thats bugging me is no video, no real effort in the marketing. A bog standard photo in the stadium of a moody Vards just feels a bit underwhelming. Look at Arsenal’s kit launches, creative, clever, referential - we need to do way better. I know we have less scope globally and blah blah but we should be pulling our finger out more than this.
-
Yeah would love this. Great squad addition and a high ceiling. For around £10m or less would be great business
-
-
Surely dev squad?
-
It would be a very very good deal at that price and with him coming in on loan and then buying in the summer. I just dont believe The Sun unfortunately
-
I get your worry, but these are “highlights” compared to watching his games this season in full. He definitely lunges into some tackles but he’s a hard worker and maybe I am biased but I love a Leicester - Ajax connection.
