Skipp, Okali and Ayew all had a great first half -

Ayew made a great start here -
Overall decent window and there’s 3 or 4 who could make a real difference if they settle.
-
I think it’s probably more that Steph has never played in the PL, and Cooper might not have wanted to throw in straight away
-
No way we are in for him now
-
What’s the issue with this, 57 in 94 for Celtic. We needed a striker and we’ve got one. FFS we are not a great proposition at the minute for top players. He’s a decent signing.
-
Would clearly improve us, hope he signs.
-
He’s signed a new deal and he’s had minutes in the first team now, so the club obviously rate him. But I do wonder whether they think he’s quite ready from an experience or physical perspective. So a loan makes sense.
-
Ipswich getting Jack Clarke, would definitely improve us
-
No easily our best defender…quick, strong and good on ball. Become an easy target for some reason.
-
Isn’t the first priority survival at this point? Not who we might sell in the future, because being in the PL is our biggest source of revenue. Skipp, Golding and Okali we’ve no idea at this point. Reid and Ayew surely seen at short term options to do a job.
-
Thing is, we’ve made loads of big money ‘exciting signings’ in the past that have flopped - Musa, Perez, Silva, Iborra, Inler, Slimani etc. Then we’ve signings that have looked uninspiring and gone on to do well - Simpson, Fuchs, there’s loads to be honest. Let’s at least see how he does eh!
-
Did enjoy his dig at Brendan, I’m not about my own brand, im about the club. Certainly that’s how I interpreted it 😂
-
Clearly seen as an option that can help us see out games, and hold the ball up when we are under pressure. We’ll need different types of players this year. He’s an option and it’s impossible to judge this transfer until the window closes. If he’s all we get in…fair enough
-
Thinking purely of this season, and the fact we will need high effort and lots of experience, this makes sense. Maybe not as a regular starting, but as an option.
-
How many signings will we make before the end of the transfer window?

Yeah it felt like Cooper thought something was close -
I do think he’s underrated by some fans. Came on last night and immediately made an impact, always gets in the box and his work rate is fantastic.
-
Honestly really like him, very honest in his assessment. Think he’ll do well.
-
Pretty low. Tbf they are streets ahead of us, their squad is miles better. Still in it and had a few moments here and there. First game back up, limited options up front, could have been worse. Reid struggled mind.
-
Actually think we’ve done ok
-
No way this is a full £20m up front. Did someone mention they still owed some for Maddison?
-
Ayoze Perez – £28.5m. Islam Slimani – £26.5m. Patson Daka – £25.6m. Kelechi Iheanacho – £23.6m Reckon he’ll represent better value over his career here than these 4
