The biggest problem as I see it with society today, and this is all sides. People now, make up their own minds and then look for evidence to support their way of thinking. Rather than looking at the evidence and then making up their own minds. I find it really sad, I would say more and more people are becoming rooted in their opinions and idealism and will not waver or change their opinions if something happens that distorts that narrative. This is both left and right, and both in a desperate propaganda war to prove they are right. When the truth usually lies somewhere in the middle.

I think the biggest issue is, some are unable to seperate the King Power that took over under Vichai and the a king Power under Top that are running the club now. The change in leadership is akin to when we replaced Martin O’Neil with Peter Taylor - yes it’s the same club, with some of the same parts, but they are not producing the same outcomes. Often the KP must stay, talk about when KP took over we were a mid table Championship club, without a pot to piss in and King Power came in and gave us all this success. But can’t seperate the success we had under Vichai, with the under Top we are right back where we started from, if not further back.

The squad tonight had 8 academy graduates in it, and one further graduate on the opposition team sheet. Which is amazing for the state of our youth development. With the cup 3rd round coming up, could we possibly play an all youth graduate XI? And actually be competitive

The worst part of this is that email, (which could have been written by a 5 year old) was genuine communication from a professional organisation to its employees. Unbelievable, I was certain based on the lack of writing ability that it was a fake.

Went to the Melbourne City game tonight, must have seen 4 or 5 Leicester shirts at the game - anyone here? Tom Lawrence ex Leicester hattrick. Melbourne 2 down at half time, calamitous at the back, no idea going forward - the Leicester lot must have all felt right at home.

I’ve not been at the game today, had tickets for tomorrow. But been on the pub tonight with lots of barmy army. And the overwhelming feeling is of disappointment, despite The England win. We have a huge sporting event, 92,000+ sold for each of the first three days… People have spent huge sums of money to come out for a once in a lifetime trip and for the second time, let’s be honest it’s been ruined by a pitch. I’ve never seen so many disappointed England fans after an away win. Thats two out of four tests that have only lasted 2 days. It’s just crap, yes we won, but let’s be honest, both here and Perth whoever batted second was always going to win. Pitches have let down all who travelled and it’s a real shame, that those people couldn’t be treated with 3 or 4 days of high quality test cricket.
