  1. Give the bloke a chance.
  2. If ever a line up said by me some players this is the one.....
  3. Feels odd watching Doyle play for Norwich.
  4. It around 7.7m, it will included his wages. If he's on 80k a week that's around 4.5m, so the actual fee will be around 2-3m
  5. What had he got to gain by going back, he's been there and got the postcard twice.
  6. Proper one of us as well......
  7. Played 80 odd games as CF for Palace as well.
  8. Able to play down the middle as well as wide.
  9. Very underrated. But expect him to go back to Palace.
  10. Here we go @moore_94 one of my favourite threads..... Keep those updates coming.....
  11. Ipswich one of few team publishing the calculations for their Profitability and Sustainability assessment. For the last 3 year period they we under the limit -39m (3 x 13m) by 18m. That doesn't included last season, but suggest they should have a decent amount of head room. I still expect us to spend 30m to 40m before the end of the season to be honest.
  12. There is nothing to cancel they haven't started it. Having planning permission only increases the value of the club, and you don't cancel it you just let it lapse.
  13. I still expect we will sign a 1 or 2 players for decent fee. I thin we are using the loan market as we need 4-5 in.
  14. Not on the left, he more of a runner with the ball, getting on the end of things, never really seen him bit a man
  15. I believe he was testing the two left backs to determine if they were up to the task and has now concluded that they likely don't match the profile he's looking for. On the right, I'm uncertain if it suits JJ, and while it might have been perfect for Riccy pre-injury, I'm not sure anymore. If he intends to play that system he should consider emulating what Chelsea did with Victor Moses, choosing an attacking player how can defend. I agree on the use of Riccy as the DCM, but I think he value Wilf physicality I think Cooper is more willing to adapted his approach as the season pans out.
  16. When have to make some short term decisions to help the squad now, from a financial point of view this is very low risk.
  17. With the way Cooper wants one of the full backs to become a winger when we are in possession, I expect us to be in the market for a fullback how has more end product, who has the ability to beat a man. Thomas and Kristiansen are both old fashion fullbacks for me.
  18. To be fair he's use to that from his Forest days!
  19. Are you related, or you getting a cut of he's transfer fee.
  20. I think it a bit of both, as Golding is one for the future. We need to have one eye the present and one eye on the future.
  21. I would expect a manager who's had 12 months to install his ethos and tactics to perform better than a guy who had 6 weeks.
  22. It a low risk move that bring in a player, with some creativity. We used the loan market to good effect last season, Doyle, Fatawu playing massive part in our success, Akgun and Cascadi also played a part.
  23. Think people are losing sight of were we are. We have to balance short term and long term objectives.
