I think they are trying with the like of Soule but we just can't seem to get then over the line. I didn't want Cooper, but now he's here we have to give him a chance.

Not sure it has. Last season we used the loan market a lot. 23/24 Doyle, Casadi, Fatawu, Angun 24/25 Buonanotte and Probably another. Last season we brought PL player over 27 23/24 Coady, Winks 24/25 BCDR. Last season we bought in younger players untested in the league. 23/24 Hermansen, Mavididi 24/25 Okoli, Golding. Not overly different in my view.

Being the fullback who goes into the back 3 as a CB doesn't suit him, and with his decline physically with injuries playing the fullback that become the auxiliary winger probably doesn't. Has to play in the 6 next to Winks for me.

Pretty obvious that we will be looking to replace the likes of Daka and Hamza in the line up before the start of the season.
