  1. Newport were dreadful.
  2. Feel like his a gap filler, obviously we are are writing this year off, spend no money, deal FFP deduction, lots of higher earns off in the summer, clean slate and rebuild and go again.
  3. Maybe they want to see how he does in a team that has more off the ball test his creativity. Or it could be Chesterfield were will to pay more.
  4. No lives in Loughborough
  5. Brother in law, he's not even from Stoke.
  6. I think the the only thing we maybe able to do is loan Winks or Soumare and cover there wages, or let them go for a nominal fee. Someone in Spain or France would probably take ether, for nothing. The main reductions come in the summer.
  7. BIL definitely rated him, just not sure his introduction alone is going to change our fortunes around. I think being better coach and structured is more important than swapping out one player. Whoever has played out of Nelson, Vestergaard, Faes and Okoli we have struggled, not sure adding him in changes it.
  8. He's probably got a good chance to go somewhere else. The shit we are in we need to accelerate Braybrooke and Alves development, we need them as squad members next year.
  9. Whilst you have assets to refinance against you can always kick the can down the road, when you run out of assets to refinance against is when you are in really trouble. Bank don't really want you to clear a debt, they want you keep playing interest on that debt. We have refinance on future transfer fee before, which we could do on fee for BIK, Fatawu, Nelson. Long as we have something to secure a loan against. Who owners the training grounds Seagrave and Belvoir drive? No saying it a good idea, but it's possible. Wages and our transfer amortisation drop massively next year, spending nothing this summer is part of a massive reboot. Don't get me wrong I don't think we are in a great position but it could be worse especially if we had more of our old established PL on long contracts. With Ricardo, Winks, Daka, Soumare, Ayew all out of contract it's going to reduce the wage bill to more normal championship standards.
  10. You are correct we get this season and next, which is why we need to get our house in order.
  11. Depends how willing they are to re-finance, which is generally an option, or they would probably shallow up the parachute payments.
  12. Only way the defence improves is better coaching.
  13. Brother is a Stoke fan, told me at the time he thought we over paid and he can only play as one of 3 CBs.
  14. Hard to know the financial postion without last years accounts, will will have a better idea when they are published. If we are that desperate for cash why loan El Kannouss when we could have sold him and bank £30m. We still have sellable assets in Fatawu, Monga, BIK, Nelson. I think they will be sold long before we hit administration.
  15. It sort of does as it wipes out any value the club has, if you have no money why would you let an asset worth 300m ish go into administration rather than sale it. The only people who are going to force administration is debtors, and I don’t see it being adventurous to them to them as yet. Financial thing improve massively in the summer with most of the high earns gone and two more seasons of parachute money.
  16. Not sure that advantageous to the owner, so it would have to be someone forcing his hand. It tanks any value to him. Not sure it would be advantageous to the company we owe money too to force it. Only way I see it is if we owe HMRC.
  17. Why would you? Not sure why you would think this.
  18. Its not about the result or where we are, it about the level of performance.
  19. Obviously not in Scotland. 5 league wins out of 5.
  20. Something just don't work. At less it been address quickly.
  21. Souttar play 22 games for a Sheff U and Hamza played 19, that side finish 3rd. Mavididi, Vestergaard, Ricardo played for when we finished 1. Skipp has been in the championship team of the year. Plenty in this squad to be better then what we currently are. Individual ability can be overcome by having a well coached, well drilled side.
  22. I'd say both wingers are suffering from little or no support, pattern of play and often suffer from being double up on. They both benefit for the Enzo system with two quality 8s in KDH and Ndidi. Hes clearly a confidence player who low on confidence
  23. Probably should have won last time.
