  1. And very unlikely.
  2. Keeping in mind he still has over 10m amortisation left of our books we could do with any fee being over 30m
  3. What is the thing with ex West Ham are they the new Southampton
  4. Not really what his said.
  5. I was expecting more out goings this summer and some better transfer fees They aren’t really calculations, more like rough estimates. I expect us to lose over £40m this season, and without the Premier League 24/25 figures it’s impossible to know exactly how much PSR room we’ll have for this season. That’s why I said it could be anywhere from around £20m to only a couple of million. As you said, our income will drop massively next year — but our expenditure should fall as well. Amortisation is due to reduce by about £23m, and I’d have thought our wages will drop by a good £20m too.
  6. It’s difficult to be certain without the full 24/25 accounts, but from a PSR perspective our position for 25/26 doesn’t look particularly strong. Our amortisation remains relatively high at around £40m, which isn’t far off the £46m recorded in 23/24. If we use the other expenditure and income from our Championship season as a guide, and then adjust for the transfer income we do know — roughly £43m, which is around £30m less than our sales in 23/24 — we are likely heading for a loss of around £40m in the 25/26 season. For PSR purposes, this would translate to an adjusted loss of approximately £22m. Now, I would hope we've shaved off some expenditure on wages with the players who have left, such as Vardy, Ndidi, and others. That should provide at least some relief against the wider PSR pressures, even if it doesn’t fully offset the drop in transfer income. Depending on what the final figures from the Premier League season look like, we could have anything from around £20m of PSR headroom to only a couple of million You also have to factor in whether the owner is still willing to keep putting his hand in his pocket to cover the losses. Every extra pound we lose is another pound he has to fund. On top of that, we still haven’t appointed a technical director, and we have a manager who may or may not be here for the long term. With that instability, and our recent track record, would you really be inclined to splash the cash? Especially when we’re unlikely to either go up or go down this season. Next season we have around a £23m reduction in amortisation to roughly 17m, which will give us much more financial wiggle room. Hopefully we’ll also have a technical director in place to help guide the rebuild and make sure we bring in the right players.” Holding back on business will make the job bigger, but Sunderland showed last season that you can still have a massive turnover of players and get promoted.
  7. Or simply part of sorting our finances out. Spend nothing, wait for all the high earners to disappear in the summer and start over.
  8. Pretty sure he'd have lots of PL teams interested.
  9. More than likely. I see any income we can get for a loan fee and a someone else paying their wages a bonus. I can't see how we let those 3 go with bring in at least 1 CM and 1 CF
  10. At this point just get his wages off the wage bill. Issue is we have around 3.4m of amortisation left on his value for this years so they are bound to want that or more. I think the best we can hope for is a loan fee and he wages paid for.
  11. I think it probably forces the reset we have need for years, off loading all but the last of the higher earners. I'd be surprised if we had no money after selling BEK, Fatawu, Monga and stripping the wage bill and having transfer amortisation down to roughly 17m per annum. It's hard reset we should have carried out in 23/24. Which is why the recruitment new technical director role is so important. We really need to do some work this winter window to get a head start. We really need 4 or 5 of Braybrooke, Alves, Page, Evans, Aluko, Wilson Brown, Cartwight or Joseph to become proper championship level footballers. Pray we can hold on to Nelson and Monga too.
  12. If we can get our money back or near about sell. Better and for cheaper options available. We should be looking to move on any CB other than Nelson, start over.
  13. Ask yourself the question, how may players performance have deteriorated under Marti and how may have improved. I don't think one player has improved under his leadership, but a good few have got worse.
  14. Just made me laugh
  15. No need to shout.....
  16. Interesting that Man U poached Wilcox from Southampton now we are after Wilcox replacement. Whilst not impressed, can he do worse than Rudders
  17. Why not look for a technical director doing well at a smaller club who are being successful. Bet he does an awesome PowerPoint.
  18. To be fair Stan, his job is to talk about what happens on the pitch.
  19. I agree it not an excuse for the lack of organisation or running for me. I actually don't have a issue with how we are doing from a points POV, I have an issue with the performances. I hope we move him on, but if the club don't we need to give him some help.
  20. Jakub is capable of being a very good keeper his just needs to iron out the mistakes and be more. Consistent.
  21. Simple way to solve the running issue, set the expectations. Whatever you are short you come in to the training ground a run the on your day off. Accountability, transparency.
