The biggest risk to our season has always been and still is, injuries. Ndidi out and we can very ill afford KDH or Winks to go down injured without looking very light. Disappointed we didn’t get an extra CM for security, but I’ve no idea whether Sensi would have been that man. Massive positive that we’ve kept hold of KDH as it would have been criminally negligent if we’d lost him in a January window when we’re still top of the Championship

I’ve not seen enough of Souttar to really assess whether I like him or not, but he’s clearly well down the pecking order under the current regime. Coady hasn’t really pulled up any trees and wasn’t considered by Wolves and Everton as worth keeping. I can’t help wondering whether Souttar might be a better bet? If we’re not going to play him,however, then he’s just a wage drain so may as well be off our books. I’m not as confident as others that Leeds won’t be a problem. There are probably only two teams that could go on the kind of run that might trouble us and Leeds are one of them. I’d play it safe in this window with any requests from Leeds or Southampton and, to be ultra safe, Ipswich as well

I think the togetherness was born out of a siege mentality. We were shite most of the time, but we knew it. I wouldn’t swap the success we’ve had since and the memories it’s created. Even if the price of that is our prawn sandwich support. I just wish we could have both. These days we just moan about everything. We can’t sing a song without debating its merits. We sit in silence in the stadium. We can’t support winning football if it’s not the right “style” and we can’t even protest collectively when the performances are unacceptable (remember Pleat again?). Shame!

I remember when I first starting watching Leicester we were still at Filbert Street. The crowds were small, but passionate, enthusiastic and together. These days our fans range from negative at worst to apathetic at best. I still love the club, but become increasingly frustrated with the fan base. We’re playing winning football in a very modern and progressive style. I’d rarely criticise other fans or how they choose to support the club. That’s up to them and their support, and the way they go about it, is as valid as mine or any other supporter. I just know that from a personal view that I’d rather have it back how it was when I first started watching. I’d be quite happy with half the support if it was positive, passionate and vocal - and the rest can just f’k off!
