  1. Mads Ricardo(Justin) Faes Okoli Justin(VK) Skipp Winks(Ndidi) Fatuwu Benuonotti Mavidi Vardy(Eduard) best team imo without brackets. Brackets are what I think would be ok still. Anyone not included I think weakens us in a bad way. So no Coady, Vestergard, BDR, Ayew, El K, Hamza.
  2. Mads Riccy Faes Okili Justin Ndidi Skipp Fatuwu Buenonotti Mavidi Vardy Id rather go down trying and not being good enough than going with a whimper wondering if we would of been actually good enough if we didnt change worrying about them, aka palace.
  3. 'Youll never sing that, you'll never sing thaaaaaat, no points deductions, you'll never sing that!'
  4. What an absolute legend this guy is. It’s just unheard of. Ive wrote god knows how many messages regarding Vards but just want to say what a pleasure he’s been to watch from almost start to finish. Even as his biggest fan, I didn’t expect much this season from him, being as he’s 37 and was on the bench for a majority of the first half of the season. This as well as an injury keeping him out for 10ish games meant really his impact should be halted, however 16 goals and the best goal to game ratio in the championship at 37 is just simply once again a huge contribution. If he played the entire season he would be on 38 goals which being way past his prime is staggering really, still head and shoulders so far above this level. Not only this, he’s stood up in the business end of the season, big moments, big games, huge players stand up..he has. Cruising all season but then 3 losses, Under huge pressure first time of the season going away to Sunderland and Hull. Scores huge winner at Sunderland then 2 to get huge point at Hull. Then we bottle it again when he doesn’t start away to 2 awful teams millwall and Plymouth so comes back in vs the 2 best teams aside from the title race triplet and scores in both games and huge performances in both. Sums his entire career up in a nutshell, he’s not only world class but he rarely ‘stat peddles’, always scores in big games and big moments and produces his best when it’s most key. Pure big game player. I can’t speak highly enough of the lad, absolute privilege to watch him play for us for so long. A prem legend, a Leicester legend and undoubtedly one of the best strikers this country has produced and the sad thing is, had he been born on the red carpet and not been stupidly let go it could of been so much more, he’s really that good. If any young kid or player coming through the ranks as a number 9 who wants to reach the top, just study that 4th goal tonight. The movement, the timing, the football IQ, the finish..absolutely world class. I will miss you Vards..WE will miss you Vards. Him to us, is Kenny dalglish to Liverpool, we should give him the respect he deserves. A Statue outside and The new East Stand named after him, nothing less will suffice. The 🐐.
  5. Just because the term is over used(which I agree with), it’s not over used with the above 3. They not only achieved the greatest sporting achievement of all time, but went on to be Premier league greats in an era when the Premier league is the greatest league in the world. Undoubtedly World class to pretty much anyone, and Vardy in particular is not only a Leicester legend but the greatest player to ever play for the club.
  6. Absolutely ridiculous take imo. Vardy, Mahrez and Kante are 100% world class to anyone who has an ounce of football knowledge. Kasper arguably is very close. Vardy 2015-2019 was one of the prems great strikers. Only Kane scored more in his prem career, playing largely for an upper mid table club. 136 prem goals, Prem and FA Cup medals, 11 in a row that’s still a record, the only player to ever score 100+ over 30, the best goal to game ratio of any player vs the ‘big 6’. 7th in the Balldor, golden boot(in a separate season to the prem win , showing ‘longevity’ you suggest is needed). Need I go on? Most people would suggest he’s at least a top 15 of all time prem striker, absolutely world class. Mahrez regarded as 1 of the best wingers of his era, moved to the club dominating world football and the best manager wanted him. Won multiple prems and a treble and was pretty instrumental in most of it being a regular for a majority of that time despite huge competition from a lot of other world class talent. The way mahrez left us leaves a bitter taste but absolutely he’s world class. And then we go to little Ngolo, arguably his performances in 15/16 were the greatest single season performance by any player in any season in prem history. After that takes the league to Chelsea whilst getting the PFA player of the season, which is unheard of from a DM. Wins the FA Cup, Wins the EL and wins the CL(MOM in ALL of those finals). Wins the World Cup also. Prime Kante from 2015-2021 isn’t world class, he’s generational class. When people talk about the prems best DMs he’s right in the convosation with Keane and Viera, that tells it all. Remember the question initially was which team would win vs 13/14 and 23/24 and this teams top scorer is guess who? A 37 year old well past his peak and been a sub most of the season yet still top scorer. Thos team isn’t even close to that Pearsons team. More strong, more power, better strikers and more backbone. This team isn’t even as good as Ipswich or Leeds but our squad is ridiculously deep compared to Ipswich and Leeds had an awful start. We lost twice to them, no team did the double over us in 13/14 except when we’d already won the league so turned up drunk vs Brighton.
  7. Anyone who thinks him leaving would be good for us is absolutely clueless and delusional. He is the difference between us going back up and not IMO. Without him we wont score the goals needed. Vardy and Daka wont cut it if a mainstay in the starting line up. This guy has been overlooked and not respected for how good he really is. Sure he makes mistakes and the occasional wild shot but he holds it up well and we play and gain space alot easier with him in the team. If he stays and stays fit and in the team all year he'll bag 30+ imo. Id do everything in my power to keep him if I was top. The talk of 10 mill is a joke, unless we got 40+(which we wont) we should take the risk on losing him as a free 100%. If he stays Id be shocked if we dont make the top 2. We just have far to many good players for this level but hes the one that we need most as there is not another player anywhere near his level in the world who would play at this level in their PRIME age.
  8. I would do absolutely everything to keep him. He’s in his prime age and good enough for top 10 in the prem let alone the champ! What he’s been through and how he’s been treated the last 2 seasons has been nothing short of disgraceful. He is a top finisher and a good character around the dressing room. Out of all the players we have, he’s probably the one I’m praying to keep the most but feel like it’s unlikely he will stay. Absolute shame but I hope a good majority of our fan base don’t have a bad word to say about Kels because he has been a model pro taking a number 2 role behind Vardy(2017-20 you can’t really not accept being behind him). but after latter 20/21 helping us win the FA Cup and having finally hit his prime, this season he should of been playing every minute possible with Vards as a 2 occasionally as a plan B but him as the focal point. Its just so ridiculous and whilst I pray he stays, I’d wish him all the best if and when he does leave. Leicester city Cult hero for ever for me.
  9. 1. Brighton 0-0 at Home 2nd match after lockdown was the start for me. Wobbling for months before lockdown, must win home game vs a really poor Brighton side at the time and he played Mendy and Ndidi in a double pivot and Dimi Gray as a LM in a flat 442.. I felt a huge red flag here. 2. Bournemouth 4-1 away a couple of matches later. Dominated the first half vs bottom of the table Bournemouth. 1-0 up. Takes off Nacho and goes 541 to give them the initiative. Eddie Howe immediately brought on Stanislas for an extra attacking threat, coward Brendan invited it. What happened after that was a huge capitulation and that for me confirmed after Brighton that he really is a poor manager who was riding a wave until he has to actually do something. Ultimately bottling it, I didnt expect much of 20/21 but the start of 20/21 we did fairly well and played some great stuff. Castange and Fofana made a difference, we won at the Ethiad 5-2, won very convincingly at Spurs away 2-0 and knicked a 1-0 at Emirates and it was all going decently, but again some bizarre decisions especially in alot of home games vs weaker opposition started to show. 3. Newcastle 2-4 at home late 20/21. This was him at his very worse. His team line up and tactics that day absolutely reeked of bottle job. This is when It became clear hes not a great manager but having 2 great seasons and an FA Cup win, its hard when everyone is backing him at that point. Ever since 21/22 Ive almost not cared either way if he goes or not because it doesnt really matter as our standards have dropped and I always thought he was an average manager who isnt good enough for top 6-8 push but wouldnt drop too far, however hes probably bottled this year more than we actually should despite the squad being awful now(largely due to him too) meaning I actually want him to stay now rather than getting the easy escape. I hope us as a fanbase, whilst appreciating a great day for our club in an FA Cup win(Lets be honest Kasper and Youri both pulling off legendary moments and a very close fortunate VAR call bailed out his limited ability). realise that he has largely underachieved with the peak squad we had AND not refreshed the squad and tactics like any decent coach could in a transitional season(crikey even Puel did a better job in 'transition' seasons) and hold true legends of this club in higher regard. O Neil, Ranieri and even Pearson are well above him in terms of what they achieved/relative to what they inherited.
  10. I think Id like to see him get us out the mess to prove himself. I dont want him to be a coward and leave the mess behind him whilst getting a huge pay off with his reputation intact. Hes still highly rated for no real reason, Spurs fans wanting him to replace Conte, I mean ffs. Hes a manager who lived off nearly winning the league with Pool and nearly getting top 4 with us, bottling it when things get tough. Imagine him with the pressure of a big 6 club? Klopp took 3 seasons to sort the mess Brendan left after signing the likes of Ricky Lambert and Balotelli. I think we should try and do what Wigan did in 06/07. Hopefully survive by the skin of our teeth then mutually part having at least had the final say. He goes off and we get a new manager in early in the summer to try and rebuild and get the whole season(Similar to Paul Jewell, mutually leave despite surviving). Wigan rebuilt and stayed in the league for a long time after that and included an FA Cup win in there, so it would be possible to rebuild). If Rodgers stays, we save the money on paying him off, not increase or decrease our chances in the short term of survival and IF we survive then what I said above would be best for all parties but IF we did drop, we should not let him walk away and make him earn his money at Champ level.
  11. Brendan Rodgers, is, was and ALWAYS has been a very average manager at best. I said that countless times on here ever since we bottled it in the 19/20 season. The amount of times I said 'he inerited a great squad' and sadly Its proven to be bang on like I always knew. The guy is an absolute fraud and can only play attacking football with brainless defensive ideas. He had proven at Liverpool that when he needs to rebuild a squad he failed and I could see the cracks in the 20/21 season that this would happen. Funny thing is, I wanted him sacked when he bottled 19/20, again when I could see he was throwing away 20/21, and countless times in 21/22 but this season I actually want him to stay. I would be absolutely fuming if we sack him now, we STILL go down because of the mess hes done and the new manager gets the blame whilst he walks into a Prem club with the media hailing how good he was and how 'its Leicester what do they expect, he achieved miracles' blah blah. I want him to rot, I want him to stay and keep us up or if we get relegated I want it right on his CV as its massively on him. If we do go down I also want him to stay with us and rot in the Championship. I want that little midget ego to sink with us. If were going then HE is too! Sacking him now is the absolute dream for him(huge pay off, reputation saved, no relegation on his CV) and no better for us. As crap and clueless as he is, our squad over the last 2 years has become garbage. A combination of Top pros aging(Vards, Kasper, Evans), elite quality leaving/going to leave (Fofana, Madders, Youri), bad injuries that have ruined(Ricardo, Ndidi, Justin). So weve been left with mainly the dross. Ward, Thomas, Mendy, Amartey and Soumare wouldnt get us out league 1 let alone being competent in the Prem. Daka and DHall are average hard working at best. We have Nacho Barnes Castange and Faes who are prem quality(Madders and Youri aside as they will be gone), the rest is dross. So because of this, sacking him wont help us 'short term' because of the mess he has put us in, so sacking him does HIM the favour and NOT us. EVEN if by some miracle we survive, we are favourites next year to go. Were in an absolute MESS and whilst top has made some poor decisions recruitment wise and financially - this is mainly down to Brendan. You can drop a little and blame the lack of signings but if you cant even get this team to 10-13th area at the worse then YOU my friend are a failure. Brendan IN. Show us your not a bottling little c***
  12. This. Spot on. It all started with this. I was on here a lot in 2020/2021 getting pelters for suggesting Brendan was overrated and he was living off the quality squad we had, now it has all shown up. The reality is 2019 we had built a fantastic young squad that every manager wanted our job. Prime Ricardo and Chillwell at fullbacks, a midfield triangle of prime Wilf and a young Tillemans/madders who are only going to get better and a world class rampant Vards up front. 19/20 season we 100% should of got top 4, we were in fact the 3rd best team in the league that year and Chelsea being so weak with a transfer ban and a useless Man Utd team under Ole meant the door was open and we blew it. We started like a house on fire but firstly, as you said above, giving Brendan that huge contract was mental. Not even hindsight either, I remember vividly at the time thinking 'Really? the job isnt even done yet..thats not like our owners to make silly decisions, I trust they know what there doing'. Vichai wouldnt of allowed that I dont think. Big gamble which was stupid before we had achieved CL football. If he left for Arsenal who cares, the squad we had was the reason and at that time we'd of got another manager in of quality as we'd of been an attractive option at that point. Absolutely no reason to get desperate with such an average manager just because we won 8 in a row and looked great because we had such a good squad. This was definitely the start of what we are seeing now and it didnt help that almost straight away we hit a brick wall in form, Vards pulled up vs Liverpool on new years day and was never prime Vardy again, Ricardo broke his leg and then lock down stopped which I seem to remember helped Utd get injuries back from the break and didnt help us. It also hurt King Power at the pocket due to lockdown which means a number of events and issues all came at the same time to put huge pressure now on achieving CL football for the money. We blew it by a combination of injuries, poor management and bottle, so it felt like we missed our chance. The summer of 20/21 though was the anomaly. Signing Castange and Fofana both great signings was great business and helped booster the squad for 20/21. We were not as fluent as 19/20 due to Chillwell leaving, Ricardo broken leg and Vards past his raw peak - all 3 such raw pace now we were much less paceless so more workman like and a solid spine with Evans Fofana and prime Ndidi. In general we did well to hold it up the upper echelons with the injury list and troubles we had but with a bit of luck from Liverpool falling off a cliff with VVD injury and Chelsea bieng poorly managed by Frank before Tuchel came in, we had another opening. Again we bottled it but it felt less of a bottle this time and winning the FA Cup was a great achievement to at least show something for the quality squad we had for 2/3 years. Since then though its all gone downhill. Firstly losing Fofana to leg break forcing us to waste money on Vesty, stupid signing of Betrand which is Brendan at his useless best and poor other recruitment in Daka and Soumare reminded me of summer 2016 with Musa Silva and Slimani. This happens but with a club like us we CANT get any wrong, even more so because of the poor decision to gamble huge on Brendan before we had the CL money in our hands. Maybe Top worked out it would be ok but couldnt foresee Covid coming which would be very unfortunate timing but nevertheless it was poor desperate decision to pump hard on Brendan when its clear as day from his time at Pool that hes no good at rebuilding a team just lives off other peoples work. We are now in a huge mess because of it, I cannot see also how we dont go down in 23/24 if we someone survive this season. Youri and Madders are both gone, Vards and Evans will all be retired and so unlike in 17/18-18/19 when whilst we were rebuilding we had the spine of quality in Kasper Evans Vardy Mahrez to hold us midtable whilst we re built, this time the spine behind these guys above who will go/retire are bloody useless. So next season with Amartey and Thomas in our back 4 and Daka running about up top. we are nailed 20th. Youri is the reason we are just about holding up this year. Him and Madders aside we are imo the worst squad in the league now and itll show next year. Id say as we stand we are absolute bankers to get relegated next year if we somehow survive this year.
  13. This guy is the greatest player we’ve had bar none, and whoever is 2nd is so far behind it’s not even worth having a conversation. Simple reality is, he is done. We can blame lack of service, manager, amongst all kinds of things, but the reality is, he’s 36, his pace has gone for a while but the body/coordination is also now gone, he’s a split second behind and its purely down to age unfortunately. Gareth Bale, one of the greatest arguably of his generation, retired at 33(and was finished for 4/5 years in reality). We have come to expect Vards to be super human but in reality hes 36, it’s incredible what he’s achieved. Between 2015-2019 he was absolutely world class full stop. I’ve always maintained he was never the same after he picked up a bad hamstring injury when we lost 0-4 at home to pool on the 19/20 season. He looks off it after lockdown in the golden boot winning season behind closed doors and hes been off his prime since then. 20/21 he wasn’t the same but his ability to read the game so well, and clinical finishing meant the lack of pace didnt end him completely but he was declining. I honestly thought last season would be his last but 15 goals from open play despite his injury’s was brilliant. He was clearly past his best but his relentless finishing and ability to make chances kept him at the top for another year despite a complete decline in his fitness. This season it’s become too much to fight against Father Time but even last night and this season in general, despite being almost immobile , manages to always seem to find space so naturally, he’s just a fantastic reader of the game but unfortunately his body has gone too far. Its very sad last night because that chance was pure brilliant the way he just always gets in space but his coordination was a step behind(Daka for example so quick and nimble but how come he never seems to have great chances like Vards despite much more pace?). Vards is an absolute legend and in my honest opinion far better than anyone gives him credit for(2015-2019 Vards is a top 10 at worst premier league all time striker). However the time has come to retire or move to America/Sheffield Wednesday at the end of the season. He has nothing left to prove.
  14. Faes has really impressed me. Its too early to get too excited but he really has made a huge impact and ever since the Palace game been watching him closely and he reads the game so well and oozes class. Its a great signing if we stay up regardless what happens as the small fee we payed for him will be nothing to what Prem status brings in. In terms of comparisons with Fofana, its too soon. My gut with him is very good, potentially better but could end up average in time(hope not). With Fofana, the first game I watched him vs Villa he looked like an 18 year old in an under 12s game. He looked like he could be the greatest ever defender Ive seen. 20/21 he was a monster and IMO his ceiling was much higher than anyone ive seen along with Kante, let alone Faes. Saying that, since his ACL hes not been quite as super human(albeit on not so many games as evidence) but hes injured again and I fear for him to reach the heights of maybe he could of. Look at VVD and even our Ricardo, as much as people remain positive, it's a life changing thing and you notice the effects more if your ceiling was higher initally. So based on born talent, its not even close if we havnt got recency bias, however as a club to get a huge fee for a want away player with a potentially never fully returning to peak injury and spend fractions of it on a really good CB who has absolutely no question about it changed us from 22 goals in 7 games to 3 in 7 games is just more fantastic business from our amazing owners and club.
  15. Are people mad? Hes the weak link clearly and we looked much better when Ndidi came on today. People going hard on Wilf because hes played CB, had a bad injury and surgery and Got caught once at our worst moments vs a high pressing Spurs team. He is by a mile our best DM and even though he cant pass very well,Soumare looks like he could lose the ball at any moment and each game around early 2nd half looks like hes nakard and we carry him. Vs Wolves i was screaming him to come off then Brendan brought Praet on and we battered them, today same, him and KDH comes off and we get stronger. Hes still part of our best team IMO not Soumare. Ward Castange Amartey Faes Justin YT WIlf Praet Madders Barnes Vardy Thats our best team IMO but im also ok with KDH in the middle and Madders off the right although not a long term thing i like but when its working it should stay.
  16. Funny how in 14/15 it all started after a big ding dong goalscoring loss at White Hart lane too, plus a decent 0-0 vs Hull(similar to our game vs Palace) that slowly built confidence before a more convincing strong run of alot of wins(funny enough the only loss wedged in between in that run was a 1-3 loss to champions Chelsea where we fought hard and showed promise in defeat, very similar to City this time). Spooky.
  17. Think sometimes people dont realise the hardest position to play well and build 'numbers' if your team is struggling is on the Wing. A winger goes with the team, if a team is all good around it the winger gets higher up the pitch and shows his quality, if hes getting 2 man marked all the time and the rest of the team gets overpowered, even the best can look like a fish up a tree! Harvey is a top top winger and better than most in the Prem. Hes a better version of Allen St Maxim at Newcastle, exciting and frustrating but the difference is Harvey has much better stats so less wastful than ASM. Most would think ASM is potentially a top player and a top 6 player, so why not Harvey? He might not be quite as high ceiling wise as Youri or Madders, but were comparing them to 2 of our greatest and 2 that could play for anyone in world football pretty much bar City. Anyone who thinks Barnes couldnt do as well or better than Grealish at City or Jota at Liverpool or Sterling at Chelsea or Sancho at Utd then they are mad. Hes a very good winger and one of our best weve had over the years.
  18. This guy is a legend for our football club. Probably the most gifted CM weve ever had in the history of our club. Izzet is the cult hero but this guy is the best, A player on the level of Youri Tielemens belongs right at the top. For him to stay at a club of our size for (if he stays till the end of the season) 4 1/2 years, shows great loyalty and great professionalism, which turns a great player into a Leicester legend. Its like the nice average bloke dating a 9/10 blonde for 4 1/2 years but she amicably leaves him. She has a good heart but she knows shes batting to below her average to stay despite feeling so strong. I compare it to that as he is above us but has committed more than most do. Mahrez Fofana Chillwell to name a few downtooled and forced a move, Youri hasnt signed a contract because he knows we cant match his true level, but has not once downtooled, or heard any murmurings of him spitting his dummy out. He smiles and looks genuinely passionate whenever we score and even when rooted at the bottom of the table, its easy for a player who knows hes too good to be in the situation we are to get lackadaisical, but not Youri he still shows the fight of a champion. I forever will remember him as a legend and probably just below the GOAT JV as the greatest of our club(at least my era since 1990s+). You get great players who tarnish it like the above i mentioned, you also get a club legends who reamin loyal but maybe more for loyalty passion over pure quality, but Youri is both. Even before you add a wonder goal to win our only ever FA Cup! IMO a footballers prime is generally(shhh you freak Vards) between 21-30. Youri has commited at least half of his best years to this football club. He will always be a legend for that and the FA Cup final alone but add everything above i mentioned too, Id like to put it out there how much he deserves to be held in high regard as 1 of our greatest. I hope he stays beyond it for selfish reasons but if and when he inevitably goes, there wont ever be a player I stand up and cheer more if they play vs us in the future (If of course he doesnt smash a worldie past us!). Legend is given out too easy but he is a Leicester LEGEND, regardless of what happens from here.
  19. Everything that Rodgers has done for us is dead. He is an absolutely useless manager and I’m fed up of watching this sh*t. Castange at left wing, Ndidi at CB, Soyuncu being blanked out when he’s our best defender by a mile. Rodgers is one of 2 things - 1) 1 of the worst managers we’ve ever had to be this inept. 2) doing it all on purpose to get sacked and that would explain how he’s managing us like a pub team manager. Either way I hate that little midget and to me his career with us is dead. He Is not even close to O’Neil and Pearson who managed us to the top and league cups overachieving to the max. Great managers. Rodgers is a fraud that’s being embarrassed currently to what I always knew he was. Get out my club and rot. It’s over and the only reason I hate the idea of him being sacked is his smug little face getting that pay off he wants.
  20. That’s enough. Goodbye Rodgers.
  21. If we don’t get at least 3 points out the next 2 games he needs to go. I got absolute pelters on here back in 2020 calling him ‘a clueless moron’ but now we can all see it in open viewing. He does the same sh*t with every club, he can win when it’s all set up for him but when a team needs rebuilding he’s as bad as anyone in the league. He replaced Suarez with Ricky lambert and Mario ballotelli - let that sink in. Nothing changes. He can moan and b*tch all he likes about the lack of money from our owners but are squad is at least 8-12th still on paper minimum, so he’s underachieving by a mile and that’s because he’s a very average manager, is, was, and always has been. As I said at the time, we were doing well despite him not because of him. Prime Ricardo and Chillwell, the raw pace and power there. That middle 3(that we still have but he doesn’t use them in their positions) and lighting raw Vardy and Barnes up top - no wonder we looked frighteningly good. Then to get Fofana and Castange to bolster, he really had a squad that was easily good enough. 19/20 for sure the league was weak and we were the 3rd best team that year so to finish 5th was a massive underachievement. 20/21 we bottled it again but FA Cup covered the cracks. Ultimately he should be thankful for the individual brilliance of both Youri and Kasper or we never win that FA Cup and he’d be remembered as the bottler. Luckily for him, that success will delude people thinking he’s a top manager. Funnily enough, even though he should go, I actually want him to stay. I want him to not be able to hide behind the narrative that he’s a top coach and hes made to get us out of this mess by using his apparent skills when we are down and not just riding a quality squad in the perfect situation and milking the success like it’s down to him. We are in a relegation battle this year because of 1 person and that’s BR. This squad will be the best squad by a mile to ever get relegated if it goes down.
  22. Iverson Castange Soyuncu Evans Justin Ndidi Tielemens Madders Perez Vardy Barnes We need to play this midfield 3. They were key to our success and KDH as much as most fans love him because of his Leicester connection, he’s just so limited and not good enough. Youri looks lost being more to the right, Wilf looks lost at CB and Madders looks lost on wide right. If all these 3 are played correctly they are as good a 3 as any in the league. It’s so simple. Same with Cags, he’s not great but he’s far far better then Amarty and unfortunately evans is too slow. Full backs pick themselves imo. Barnes has to play. RW we havnt really got anyone I’d play but I’d rather play Perez to get our middle 3 in position rather than playing a mish mash of no one knowing wtf they are doing. Vs Man Utd was clear as any other game that it wasn’t the lack of quality on the pitch but the lack of any cohesive play because the manager has completely lost the plot. The only decision for me is Vardy or Nacho. I really rate Nacho and Vardy looks like he’s finally slowing down and needs it on a plate which we can’t give. Nacho is a quality underrated player and I’d happily play him up top alone even if that’s not his best role.
  23. Iverson Castange Soyuncu Evans Justin Tielemens KDH Madders Nacho Vardy Barnes I actually think we’re in major trouble now with Fofana leaving. Defensively we are probably the worst in the league now, the first half of last season without Wes showed that too. I can’t see us barely winning a game with poor old Johnny and Useless Amartey. Funnily enough, if we don’t sign anyone at Cb - the form of Soyuncu might be the biggest reason whether we are safe or not. If we continue to play Amartey we are in a serious relegation battle. Long hard season for us, tomorrow is a written off and we’ll know more after.
  24. Absolutely echo this! That is some team we have if we don’t use any of the weak squad away from this. Id fancy our chances with this team. Anything is better than 5 atb. I’m fed up of that formation that clearly never works. It icolates Vards, nowhere to create for the likes of Madders and just has Big Dan waddling around doing more harm that good inviting unwanted pressure. The day BR realised the best way to stop conceding is to have 1 less player at the back and 1 more player further forward for my options is the day I’ll be dead.
  25. I see it as a transition period. We built a team 14/15, 15/16, 16/17. Built success with the great escape, achieved greatness with the title, then peaked before having to refresh and start again. 19/20, 20/21, 21/22 very similar, 19/20 start of something great, then achieved greatness with the FA Cup then again having the peak and having to refresh it seems. It feels like hopefully it’ll just be another 17/18 season. Lose a few key stars, scrap and survive and look to build again season after to attack at the top again. The key is to have a similar 17/18 season , hold firm and refresh the squad successfully. That season held it firm until 18/19 when we signed the likes of Soyuncu Madders Youri Riccy and rebuilt post 14-17 era. Since we been back in the prem, the only season other than 14/15, I feared we could potentially get relegated was before 18/19. You never know how the new signings will do and clearly they turned out great to set us up for an era where we probably have been the best I’ve ever seen(certainly 2019 we were absolutely electrifying). This season will likely be very similar to 17/18 - we should be safe but not pulling up any trees. However I do fear a bit for us for the season 23/24 as we’ll probably have lost Youri, Madders, Fofana and Vardy potentially and the recruiting will be key to where we go from there on. Its definitely a nervy time currently and we must not lose anyone before the window closes. Fofana Madders and Youri will all be huge losses. If the Brighton left back who had 1 decent season goes for 52.5 mill and Grealish goes for 100 mill, Madders being 40-50 is absolutely shambolic. 25 prime of life and numbers that sh*t all over Jack. He should be 80 mill at the minimum in my eyes and with 2 years left, don’t let him go anywhere! As for little Wes. Anything less than 100 and jog on. 5 years left, 21 years old and in my opinion a generational talent. An average lb after 1 decent season is 52.5 mill? Wes really should be upwards of 100+. There’s plenty of decent LBs but CBs as good as Wes are non existent. Spit there dummies out all they like, if I was top, they should be huge price tags on those 2 and should not be bullied into any pathetic derisory offers!
