Without a doubt. I just know that our relegation is going to be greeted with clapping the players off.
-
Not a chance he would come here. He's destined for big things.

All managers talk well in interviews. I would talk well in an interview because it's all hypothetical.

If Martin has any sense he’ll go abroad. The tide is turning in this country on his style of play and I don’t think it will go down well with most fans.

Season Ticket Renewal Deadline Shut
Ricey replied to The Year Of The Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Renewed but only really because I didn’t want to drop down the priority list. I’ll be reselling back whenever I can. -
When we are as pathetic as we are now I kind of get this clamour for Dyche, but I don’t buy that he is a Pearson-esque culture builder. That is doing Pearson a massive disservice. He clearly has no-nonsense values, and we need some of that, but I don’t think we need to go to the extreme of Dyche. His style of play is horrific and I just know everyone will hate it in reality. He also has a permanent chip on his shoulder and I’m not sure we need that kind of attitude next season. He is pals with Rudkin and it scares me the damage they will do in regards to recruitment. There are so many better options out there.

I agree, but then in theory all of the angry people were in the stadium for the Arsenal match and yet it was only UFS who sang.

I think it's a combination of an aging fanbase, the title and FA Cup win, KP's 'generosity' and, for some reason, a real lack of critical thinking within a lot of our fans. So many fans that sit around me only have thoughts and feelings on what is in front of them at that precise moment. They don't look any deeper. They don't look at the DoF or the CEO or the Owner. They don't look at other clubs. It's Daka's fault, now it's the Manager's fault, now it's Justin's fault....never a thought given to why this squad is so bad and why we keep hiring horrific managers. The problem is, how do we change that? The level of anger has dropped as things have got much worse. Unfortunately I think the only mass protest that is going to be possible is one that taps into that apathy.

Union FS need to tip off the TV companies about the 14 minute banners. The only time it’s been shown on TV was during the Arsenal match.
-
So so weird.
-
Didn’t go last night, on TV you could barely hear the 14 minute chants. What was it like in the stadium? Astounds me that anyone can sit there and witness that then not join in. Even the booing was half hearted, expect for one occasion when we should have had a free kick and the boos were deafening. Such a weird fan base.

This obsession with playing like Man City has to stop. It fails miserably in the Premier League and, even when it works in the Championship, everyone hates it. The board need to realise that Leicester fans expect aggression, high intensity and resilience as a bare minimum. Until they do, the disconnect will continue. Besides that, if we truly are ambitious, don’t hire a manager that has failed spectacularly in the Premier League.

Tielemans didn’t play for Puel before.
-
I see this a lot, but there is zero evidence that Puel was responsible for recruitment. He was very much a Head Coach. Eduardo Macia was our Head of Recruitment then. The only transfer with evidence of Puel's input was Diabate...who was honking.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Ricey replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'd be shocked if there wasn't some kind of relegation break clause that both sides are counting down to days until. -
Soumare still getting picked when he l’s at fault for at least one goal a match for not tracking.
-
If it was a straight choice between Ruud and Enzo, then yes. If not, it would be a firm no. I just couldn’t get behind his philosophy. Seeing him telling the fans to calm down after we equalised against West Brom was the final straw for me. I want to see a team (and club) that represents us, and it’s not that. Teams sussed it out and it took a players-only meeting to turn our form around. I think football is moving on from the obsession of replicating Pep. You’ve also got the Burnley/Southampton dilemma of if we do manager to get promoted, we’ll crash and burn in the Premier League.

The plane wouldn't actually fly directly over the stadium, as you wouldn't be able to read it.

It’s interesting how some people see ‘King Power Out’ as just putting the blame at Top’s door and everyone else getting off lightly. My take is that King Power incorporates everything. It’s Top, Whelan, Rudkin and the whole culture that’s set in. We are run by King Power, whether or not the name on the shares say it.
-
…but some of the directors are from King Power and the ones that aren’t are hired by King Power and wouldn’t survive a post-KP future.
-
Most comments saying that it should be Rudkin Out (as KP are blameless and it’s all down to him) and yet on the 14th minute of every match….silence (apart from Union FS).
-
-
What does that mean though? It's gives the club leeway to shuffle things about a bit and sell it as change.
-
Isn't "Rotten from TOP to bottom" even more crass and provocative? It's calling out Top as an individual and using more confrontational language.
-
I can see why people are annoyed by changing the message halfway through, especially after what happened with the LED van, but hopefully everyone who disagrees can get a refund and perhaps fund their own campaigns. King Power Out is a very uncomfortable and sensitive topic for many and I totally get that. I think the tutting around me is going to reach deafening levels when the plane flies over. I hear a lot of people talk about giving Rudkin a new job title or someone in to help him, whilst the RL documentary seemed to focus far too much on the club simply communicating more. None of that will scratch the surface of solving our problems. We need widespread, meaningful change at the club and sometimes you need to go to the extremities in order to cut through and force that change.
