I think I'm more a Boyzone fan tbh

Let's say we sack him. Do people really trust the people in charge to make the right decision for the next manager? Look at a wider range of possibilities? They have got it wrong 3 times in a row, they're are inept bozos who shouldn't be near a football club. It'll be rince and repeat. New face, same players, same issues, and then sacked or we are in league one.

Boro 1-1 H Post Match Thread

Every time we had the ball, the players were too far apart. There were massive gaps in the midfield, no one passed and moved, no one carried the ball, no one dominating the midfield area for us. Fatawu ran to the corners constantly and then had two defenders which isolated himself. He isn't running at goal like he used to. No one is helping him, they pass to him and stop, assuming that he is going to take on the team and score a worldie goal. Where is the passage of plat, where is the plan to progress up the pitch? Where is the tactics? We are such a weak team mentally and physically, it's actually embarrassing. But this isn't a new issue, it's been like this for years. The board has ruined this club and there still in position. Absolutely disgraceful. They are making me hate my own club, the club I support. It's becoming a chore to go down, and it really shouldn't be after a hard day at work. There is so much wrong with the club it's unreal, and we get total silence apart from the manager. -

Skipp didn't do anything. His positional sense is poor, he can't tackle very well, he isn't quick, he can't pass, can't shoot, isn't creative. We were playing with 10 men most of the game and he's a passenger. I know it might be a confidence thing, but he just doesn't look good for any purpose. Cooper has a lot to answer for on this signing!!! -
Leave the guy alone. He's had major heath issues and had to learn to walk again, let him enjoy the quiet life. What we need is someone who is in the same mould and wants to build a team and not just collect players. I love Nige and forever a fan, but let him love life away from the game.

I'm struggling and I was very Marti in as I like him and wanted him to succeed. But it's hard work

Messy!
-
Hang on....Vesty captain
-
He has more bit and energy, definitely. Ability... probably about the same
-
Skipp or Soumare....thats why. With reminding that is £40m worth of players there. Let that sink in

Big pressure on Nelson. Hasn't been selected all season, not even on the bench and is thrown in and expected to be match fit. Hmmmm

Good evening! The key point in your post is that your team work hard, that is enough to beat us. Our team is full of players with very poor attitudes and commitment levels, so that is enough so don't worry Again if you're defensively solid, we have e no chance. What you are seeing from us is years of mismanagement from the DoF and the stupidity of our owner and his lack of knowledge on how to run a business, let alone a football club. We are in the pits, we are a mess, there is disconnect in the players, there is disconnect with the fans so I would expect a Middlesbrough win, easily. Ice been impressed with your results, but I think the Watford game showed some frailties, but believe me when I say, you have a much better team than we do. We have mardy babies who don't want to be here, and that not even touching the surface of what is wrong with Leicester City. Good luck and enjoy your first trip to the KP, it won't be full- 503 replies

This sentence sums the whole club up. Sacking the manager won't change anything because of this!
-
I understand your logic, however I see it the other way. If that is the case, then why aren't they doing the very basic and putting effort in? With them playing it is hurting their value and their level of interest. If you're a scout, would you recommend Soumare on what you've seen this season, or VK after Saturday etc...? The players aren't helping themselves and their attitude is stopping them from the move. It would be better to create a bomb squad as such, so then at least the agents can say " well the manager didn't like him, but he has done blar blar in the past. These players actually playing is exposing them as not good enough and with a weak mentality for the championship, what club will come in for them?

I can see the headlines now.... Wednesday Morning - "Norwich have sacked Manning after a poor run of results which included not winning a game at home this season. *Random dude* has been set to take charge for their next game against a struggling Leicester." Saturday evening - *random dude * got the canaries first win at home this season against a lack luster Leicester, who fall further down the table. A 2-0 win at home was a convincing one, with Leicester failing to break down a Norwich side who were well organised, for the first time this season.". It's too predictable

It's not just pace we need, for pressing we need commitment and desire. The Blackburn game proved again that this group of players (can't call them a team) haven't got that. Last season proved that as well. They don't care, or not enough of them do to make the press work. They're pathetic and selfish. On the passing side of your point, I do fully agree with. Marti needs to find a way to get these Ayers playing from back to front quickly.

How is the lump of lard still in a job. Head of the footballing side that is failing and still in a job. Signings been awful, manager appointments being awful, attitude around the club is poor. He isn't doing his job, he isn't performing and is the centre of the mismanagement of the squad and club.
-
Just for the price we paid and the lack of impact he has, it has to be Skipp. £20m+ for a player that can't get into a championship side is utter shambles. Daka comes second as price to ability levels.
-
You're right to an extent. Creating chances and pressing is down to desire of individuals. Who in the squad that played showed the desire to do either? James in parts....that's it. The main issue is the toxic pathetic attitude of players, but I do a agree that if you don't like your manager or don't believe in your manager, then effort will drop. I liked Marti at the beginning, but even I'm struggling to defend him.
